Deposit clearance confirmation - anyone knows??

I never heard such thing before. Is there any waiting period related to deposit clearance confirmation?

I made a deposit with ClickAndBuy (e-wallet) at XYZ casino and now they are saying they have to wait for a confirmation report to make sure they got money before they can release my payment. I always thought they get funds immediately. The report apparently comes once a months.

Does it sound normal?? Please help.
    Who took my money ??

I occasionally have a bit of a delay but it's usually no more than a couple of minutes - I only use ewalletxpress or moneybookers though.

My boyfriend was using instadebit and once in awhile he'd have longer delays because he'd fund his instadebit account through his bank - it would be available immediately in instadebit, but it would take a few days to process through the bank. So basically instadebit would have to get the money from the bank, then give the thumbs up to the casino that the deposit he made 3 days ago was ok.

Yep, Ray went through that same thing with Instadebit too, they said they needed to confirm that the deposit actually went through before releasing any winnings from it.

How did you fund the ClickAndBuy account? I suppose that would make a difference on how long it would take to confirm the deposit. Actually if I were you I'd contact ClickAndBuy and see what they say about it - at least maybe they could give you a time frame....?

Thanks for the info. I called another casinos that i trust and they said that with InstaDebit it takes 12 days or so for funds to clear and ClickAndBuy is instant.
ClickAndBuy support also said that merchant receives money instantly or in 24 hours max.

ooo yikes! You didn't mention how long you've been waiting, but I'd say that if it's longer than 5 business days I'd give the specifics to Max and see if he recommends doing a PAB or waiting a bit longer. Once when I had a problem he recommended 10 business days but told me that I could use his name/rank as a club when I spoke to the casino next - and lo and behold, the matter was promptly taken care of so no PAB was required!

Rogue casinos will use a known kind of issue to stall, or refuse, payouts. They must know that methods that involve a bank transfer can take a few days before they can be sure the funds have come through, but if Click & Buy say the merchant has CLEARED funds instantly, then it looks like a stalling tactic. This would depend upon how the funds were transferred into Click & Buy to make the deposit.
With the claim that it can take a month, I smell BS straight away. MOST casinos will NOT stall a withdrawal for this length of time. I have heard of delays of 14 days for some that involve a bank transfer element, and the worst was for the notorious "Firepay" which if used, seemed to be an excuse to stall ALL withdrawals for the next MONTH.

Only a few casinos use that reasoning. Mainstreet for one and a couple of mg.
I went through the same issue with them with instadebit deposit went to withdraw and right away got 14 days to make sure funds are ok with instadebit.
And the sad part was instadebit had already been funded prior to this and informed the casino the funds are cleared. Then after the 14 days i had 7 days pay out period. So it took me 23 days to get paid so that was the last i play at those casinos that take that long to pay you.

If an issue were REAL, I would expect the majority, if not all, casinos would take a similar stance. When a small minority take a "stalling" stance like this, I would suspect they are using the reasoning for stalling purposes, rather than genuine risk minimisation.
Mainstreet, for one, seem to have greatly extended their payout timetables without the need to add any excuses, so must be grateful when a good one comes along. RTG casinos, for the most part, have these weekly payout limits, so additional reasons to add a week or two will assist in whatever purpose the limits are used for, which is likely to do with smoothing out cashflow.
If instadebit can be prefunded with clear funds, and work similarly to any other ewallet in this state, there is no reason for casinos to treat it any differently than, say, a withdrawal after a Neteller deposit. Provided they can pay back to the original deposit method, they are fully protected against any later issues, such as funds not being cleared after all. Can refunds go back to instadebit?

actually no, nor it can go back to clickandbuy.

The latest explanation about the delay was that deposits processed by a 3rd party and they need to receive clearance directly from the payments provider to proceed with the payout.
