    Landbased Casinos

How is it where you live? At your casinos?
If u go into the casino and gamble, will they offer you free drinks and stuff? accomodation?
Is there a comp-program or something?

Here in Sweden the state has controll over the casino. We only have one "brand" and i think it only exists in 3 or maybe 4 cities.
You have to pay an entrance to get in and also the drinks are more expensive than in a top-notch bar/nightclub in the city!

They do also not offer accomodation and close every night at 4 or 5.

So, tell me about your casinos....

Since I live in New York there are two casinos I go to that is Yonkers Raceway and Monticello Raceway. They have no cashback programs but offer cash coupons and contest also if you are broke you sure won't be hungry. Now Atlantic City I have comps and cashback for all casinos there for Harrahs and Trump only. I have been to Tropicana once but didn't receive anything from them yet.
Give a fool his space....don't want to get caught up in their drama

We have the seminole hard rock casino here that started doing vegas style games awhile back.

They have free drinks, I get coupons every month for comped dinners, merchandise, hotel stays, shows and they have awesome prizes just about every night of the week.

I only go on the days of my freeroll plays..sent me a 30 coupon and I left with 260 and a full stomach so all in all not bad
    Waiting on something interesting

I live in Ontario the good, so no free drinks. But I am off to Casino Rama for a free night (midweek, no concert) and a couple of comp meals from my newsletter, probably two more if I have marginal luck at the slots to keep me lowrolling.

Lovely hotel and I love going there. But I have closer gambling options closer to home, but they are government run, and not nearly as well run or enoyable as Casino Rama, a native run casino. I've boycotted a government run casino twenty minutes away Thousand Island Charitiy Casino since they denied me a free breakfast after I had lost $1000 without one $50 win and pretty much no playthrough. I lost about $1000 monthly, just not usually in 5 hours. I lose less now since my income in lowered, but I was right po'd.

Rama has great comps, and a superb theatre with great shows and awesome sound.

Well here in Connecticut (Foxwoods & The Mohegan Sun Casino)
Me & The Wife get comp very well and this is nothing to do with my Bus Touring Business to them.
With the Bus trips to Foxwoods I can't get extra things like I use too anymore but Mohegan Sun they are the best from the Bus Tour extras.
For the past five months at Foxwoods the Wife and I can get two free nights each week at Foxwoods.
We get I say 80% of all concerts Free each month at both places.
All in all they both are good in the comp dept.

In Holland only the state is allowed to run casino's (with table games). So in the cities we have Holland Casino. You have to pay entrance, but if you get there a couple of times you get a membership card. With this card you can get in for free and get some discount on meals. There is also a comps program but this is not the best... You have to gamble bigtime before you can earn anything with it.
Drinks are not for free, same with snacks. You can get a decent meal (of the day) for a nice price.
In smaller "casino's" where often you will only find AWP's you do get snacks and drinks for free. But heey, you will loose all of you money there so it's expensive food after all.

    sounds pretty good.

I've only been to both places about 2 times each. My first time at foxwoods about 10 years ago, I got the player card and we could scan it for an instant win. I had a feeling I'd get it when the 3 or 4 people ahead of me didn't and sure enough mine said instant winner or something like that.

So I got to go on the stage and spin the big slot machine for the $50k. I got two jackpot symbols right off. The hostess and I watched that third reel spin forever. However it didn't hit it. I did get a cool black leather bag though. Still got it right here as a matter of fact.

The closest casino to me is Twin River in RI. about 60 miles. They got free drinks now, but I only get coke or coffee. the coffee is ok but cokes are small and mostly ice. They took out all the machines I liked, so now I just go about twice a year.

They sent me a sheet of $100 coupons for the month of March but I tossed them.

Hey Slotplayer they have Free Drinks Wow they come along way.I think the last time I went to RI was last summer and they charged for the drinks at that time.
At first the day they opened they paid for the bus $500.00 but now they give &^% nothing towards the bus. It's not north my time to deal with them.I rather go to Foxwoods or the Mohegan Sun even if they don't give me nothing for the bus and they never did from the start.
To tell ya the truth I don't care for the slots at Twin River anyways.

Next time you go to Foxwoods or the Mohegan Sun drop me a note and lets meet sometime.
    Thanks
    Tom

Here in BC Canada we have some new beautiful casino resorts, they are regulated by the Govt, you have to pay too much for a drink, they limit you to one every hour and no more than three???????? I do get free food and stuff though, but nothing much.
