    Neteller question - Help!!

    hey! Have an important question.
My mom is not the smartest when it comes to computers, She knows how to gamble but not how to withdrawl or deposit wich is probably a good thing.
Anyways, in her mailbox she keeps both mine and her neteller-details and today for the first time she made a deposit all by herself

Great - if you ignore the fact that she used my neteller account to make a deposit into her casinoaccount.
She did not use a bonus and they accepted it and she has been playing now for hours (I just noticed it when I logged onto my neteller from work)
So what happens now. They accepted the deposit, but what if she would win?
How much of a problem is this?
I might also add that it is a Rival casino!!!

Hope someone can give me an input!

Ps; my mom has now been banned by me from trying to make deposits by herself =)

It can easily be a BIG problem. It looks like some kind of "fraud" from the casino's point of view, because the deposit came from a Neteller account NOT belonging to the player whose CASINO account is being credited.
Oddly, it also shows a loophole, and the cynical nature of some casinos when it comes to MAKING money, and PAYING IT OUT. Bonuses have nothing to do with it.
This should have been caught, and the deposit should have failed due to a mismatch between the Neteller account details, and the details registered at the casino. This mismatch will almost certainly show up if it came to a withdrawal.
What the casino MIGHT think is that your mon doesn't really exist, and that YOU have registered TWO accounts at this same casino. THIS is how this is likely to be picked up. If you have NOT also registered an account at the same casino, they MAY not pick this up, at least not unless they do a deeper audit, as micht happen when a flag is raised (usually, fraud is closely tied in with bonuses).

The best way forward, is to OWN UP NOW to the casino concerned, and if they are not happy, simply close the account. Be aware though, that Rival have this central database, and you & your mom could become marked persons, and may have problems at other Rival casinos.

It would be best to record the Neteller details more securely, and NOT in your mailbox. Make sure your mom has only HER details, and NO access to mistakenly use YOURS in the future.

When it comes to loggin in to Neteller, remember that the last account number typed into the login page is stored. There does not appear to be a way to prevent this, which in your case might cause further problems if your mom thinks the stored number is hers, and generates a series of failed login attempts on YOUR account.

Thanks alot for your response. I do not have an account with this casino and I dont plan to get one in the future.
The problem was solved however by my mom loosing the entire deposit and I have now told her that she will not be able to play there in the future to actually prevet this from beeing a problem incase she wins in the future.
In my opinion, the rival she choose is not a good one anyways - SLOTO is the one for me =)
However I still dont understand that they actually took the deposit - oh well!

Hiya. I used Neteller for years before they closed to US Players. First, have your mom/you check the withdraw options from the casino. Does it have to go back to neteller, or will they send you a check, or some other withdraw option?

As far as Depositing into a Casino, anyone who know the account info, "Neteller, moneybookers, e wallet, ect" can deposit money into the Casino. At Bodog as example,

    Account name=
    authorization code=
    $ to deposit=

If the withdraw is back to neteller, then it goes straight back to them. Since your address is the same, it comes down to the bank account info. Are they Joint, or totally seperate? The Casino takes about 5 days after a deposit is made to wait and see if it is disputed. This is to stop an, "instant deposit" that actually lacks the funds in the bank.

This is why you can not deposit on Monday, win on Tuesday, and get paid on Wedsday. After the Casion has gotten no, "Chargeback" from the service provider, ie Neteller, then they really do not care. It is the service providers proablm, not theirs.

Neteller will contack you or your mom before the casino will. I am NOT going to try and tell you what to do. Buuuuuuut, hehe, I would just wait for the 5 days to pass and if nothing happened, then withdraw.

Nobody want to lose accounts. The casino does not, and Neteller does not. Your prior account history is, imhop, your saving grace. Good luck no matter what you do, or what happens.
