Player Referal - Now Ive heard it all

I have a friend that is new to online casinos, she had stumbled upon one RTG site, and asked me If I could help her find one that I felt was a good site, I dont make these decisions lightly, so after giving it some thought, I sent her to the one I seem to have been having the best play time at lately. I have not been playing there long myself, but found so far there support to be very good.

When she joined she pointed out they had a Referal Bonus, so I thought oh well what the heck Ill send in for it.

and walaaaaaa here is the reply I got.

Dear .. (They even got my name completely wrong)

Thank you for your email and referral.

Unfortunately your account does not qualify for the refer a friend bonus as the referee 'xxxxx' was already contacted by our marketing team.

Should you require any further information, please feel free to contact us at the below-mentioned telephone numbers and/or e-mail address.

    Best of luck to you!

    Yours Sincerely,

She had to her knowledge never heard of the site, only ever joined one site, not at all connected.

Yet ive been playing sites for an age and never got an email from there marketing team,

*their* marketing team? Since when are they doing the work of affiliates?

    Which casino is this?

I would try to speak to the customer service by chat and let them know that you indeed did refer the friend, as well as let your friend speak to them as well and tell them that it was you who made the referral.

It sounds a bit weird to say that their marketing team brought the player in, in my opinion, if I had a player who said they brought a player, I would gladly give them the referral bonus. A happy player is a good player.

I agree. Your friend should tell them that you actually referred her to them. They should be given bonus for that.

Hiya. Some Casino's count SPAM e mail as marketing. It is easy to have gotten it, and deleted your spam folder, and never knew it was there. On the other hand, How did the Casion Know they had already contacted her? Did they have her e mail on file?

What might have happend was that you friend clicked on a banner for the specific casino when searching the web for a good place to play..

Al lot of casino's than tag this player to the affiliate she came through or store a cookie for some time.. Then if you send her again to the casino and she signed up, she would still be linked to the affiliate..

Not sure if they mean something like this, but it might be worth asking them about it..
