I think I am going to layoff playing online

It seems I am not winning anything. At all it seems my luck died out. I win last time and after that nothing. It seems I can't play online I have more luck on a land based casino, all I do is lose money I don't have..Well I am not going to quit gambling I am not going to be playing online unless I am sure I want to. I won't be dropping $100 dollars like I use to last time I lost 500 hundred there and 600 there no more..
Give a fool his space....don't want to get caught up in their drama

Hiya. It is good you noticed it. Gambling, as a whole, has streaks. Sometimes you just can't lose, and sometimes you just can't win. When in the, "My God I am getting killed", streak, is to know the only way out of it, is to play your way out of it, $1 at a time.

I was in such a streak a couple years ago. The game did not matter, My 20 to dealer up card of 6=loss, my Pocket Aces to some guys 2-9 off suit=loss, and on an on it went. So all i did was make $1 bets and laugh at it, until it finially ended. It took almost 10 days playing some each day, before it went back to normal. Your Luck will change, just try to surrive until then.

Good move veg. Been that way a few times myself and im sure a lot of us here at cm will say the same. Last year when i started online my first thought was this is great, no 2 hour drive to the casino, sit at home and smoke and play slots. So i was a heavy depositor only to find out the hard way, i was playing at all the wrong casinos that took me. So it was at this time i found cm, and as time went on i lowered my deposits to 20 40 a few times 100. This way im not locked into a dead casino and waiting days to get funded back to play elsewhere. Its the fun aspect also the bonus rounds few nice hits the action that keeps us going but when that stops the fun and love stops. Play fun mode for a bit use what you would drop in and most times you loose that fast and think hmmm i just saved myself this much. Good luck i never deposited over the weekend either taking a small break myself.

I hope you were kidding there with that statement love2winalot, in all due respect I do not quite think that was the best advice you could offer to give someone who may just clearly need to step away from gambling all together for awhile.

You know its like I feel I will never hit anything over $100 even if I am playing a dollar. I mean what is going on..Maybe I am playing the wrong game or the wrong time of day. I am like wow when is it going to be my turn. I want one good hit and I am done..for a while. I will back off and play every two weeks. I can't play every other day. Its just insane..

Hiya. I equate it any other thing. Basketball as example. Players get in slumps. Does the Coach bench them? No, He tells them to shoot their way out of it. Why would they say that? Basketball is around 50/50 make or miss. Gambling is a little less than 50/50 win.

I went, "Yes i counted" between, Party Poker, Roulette, Sic bo, and BJ, a combined 48 bets in a row, without a win. The first 20 or so cost me some money. The last 25 or so cost me a whopping $30-$40.

If you are tired, can not concentrate, burnt out, and losing, Yea, step away, take a break, do not gamble at all, anywhere, until you are back in the right frame of mind. imhop: be prepaired for the losing streak to continue.

My point being, If you are losing, then lose as little as possible. If you going from slot machine to slot machine, and can not win, then go to the penny machine and say, "Here, take all these you want", hehe.

I would just stop for a while, sounds like you need a break...

... Time away will clear your head, and you will have more clarity about the whole thing and decide whether it is something you want to do again...

I used to make the mistake of playing when I was like that, and would lose more money, get stuck in a downward spiral, and waste so much time and money for nothing, no enjoyment... just hell. Getting depressed, angry, obsessed, full of hate... and it isn't worth it... really isn't worth it... there is so much more to life than playing games of chance...

When I have a long losing streak, I find I go off gambling altogether. I feel reluctant to go near a casino and get a sick knotted feeling in my stomach thinking about it.

During those times, I forget about it and do something creative instead, like painting, music, writing, photography, anything that makes me feel alive and free...

I do still gamble now and then, with very small amounts of money, pennies rather than pounds, if I win, it is great; if things go wrong, I stop, kiss the loss goodbye, switch it all off and feel the bliss of letting go and forgetting about it again...

    .peace.

I could always go back into my artwork I miss creating artwork for people. Well I will sure take a break from online gambling. If I can stop drinking and smoking I can most certainly stop gambling for while..

The statement of stepping away appears to me to be looking for aproval
,it was told to me by my mentor if you need to ask the question than you already know the answer .

these forums can offer a break from it all, they do for me any way , i respect the fact that you come foward and state your feelings

if you can still post without playing might give you recognition that there is a comunity of friends worty of your presence

but of course we all know they build casinos from loosing players not wining ones
its like golfing you pay to play just play what you can afford easier said than done for some
i wish you the very best in every thing not just this R C
