    Bonus or confinement?

Bonus to me means a gratuity or an extra ……but when a bonus is added alongside your deposit at most online casinos, there is a play through clause of 15X or 25X not only the bonus but your deposit as well. This seems not like a bonus but more like a restriction or confinement of your deposit until you wager the said amount… and hitting 15 to 25x the start amount is not an easy or very often occurrence …….
If the bonus was added after the initial deposit was played to zero (with no wagering requirement) ….then it would be a bonus, even if it did require a play through of whatever.
Maybe the word ‘Bonus’ for online should be changed to something like ‘detainment add on’ ……….. Or ‘ for every £100 you deposit we will add a ‘Hook’ of £100.
But Bonus …..No don’t think so.

Or, you know, you could read and understand the terms before you get a bonus, so that you know fully what you're getting into.

I don't see any brick and mortar casinos doubling my chips when I buy in, regardless of restrictions. So bonuses definitely have their uses.

As it does ( or did to me as well ) regardless of terms and conditions when a player, (loyal customer) has given ANY site numerous deposits and not hit them hard in their wallets in the process there should be a NO STRINGS BONUS. As with ANY land based Casino, you accumulate CASHBACK COMPS, FREE ROOMS,FOOD ETC ( ALL FREE WITH NO STRINGS !!!! )..... But not in the cyber world. ALWAYS STRINGS THESE DAYS ;( Therefore TRULY MEANING no real reward but a fire hoop jumping, laser dodging 20,30x playthough AFTER YOU ALREADY GAVE SO DAMN MUCH TO GET IT IN THE FIRST PLACE ~!

I am not sure there are any sites these days offering REAL CASHBACK for being loyal to them. Unlike the good ol' days when Casino Tropez, Casino LasVegas gave them all the time and very good ones at that. As a US citizen, I truly miss the way I was treated at those 2 places and those were given even after I hit a massive win at Casino Tropez. They simply appreciated my loyal business and I would still be playing there had they not dropped the US due to the 'Portal Act garbage '.

My eyes open wider & wider with every read these days at many forums . So many players quitting often or simply not playig near as often not to mention the unbelievable problems (support, payouts etc..). If the Online Casino's payed as much time reading these post daily like so many they would realize just how MOST view their business's these days.
It cost me 3% or 5% to even fund ANY site and they sure the hell don't give that back like they used to for Neteller expenses, so you basically have to make a small deposit and hope for a large enough win to recoop those fees as well as the ones that you will be hit with if you should cashout $15-$30 from site if wire and another from the bank $15-$35 or make a large deposit, PLAY BIG, PRAY, HIT & RUN LIKE HELL maybe making a big enough profit you won't notice all the fees . Either way, there is really no appreciation like before and there sure the hell is more hands in the cookie jar grabbing your winnings IF you should be so lucky. More & More, I am thinking sticking to land based is the ONLY way to go IF you are from the USA and the cyber Casino's made it that way all by themselves for not making provisions for the NEWLY ENFORCED FEES AMERICANS ENDURE TO BE THEIR CUSTOMER ! I realize these fees affect more than just USA, but I don't know what they are and can only speak from my OWN experience.

BOTTOM LINE : IF ANY CASINO TRULY VALUES THEIR CUSTOMERS, DON'T MAKE THEM JUMP THROUGH FRIGGIN FIRE HOOPS WITH REDICULOUS BONUS RESTRICTIONS. AFTER ALL THEY PAY YOUR PAYCHECK IN THE END SO APPRECIATE THEM !
