    bonus

Yes its automatic once a month match up to 50.00 I think. They keep it separate though. First you play with your money and you can cash out anytime, no problems. I've done it before. The wagering requirements are only on the bonus also.

    All Star Slots bonuses

    Hi RockyCatt!

Thank you for your question. I do believe Customer Support has already replied, but for the benefit of others I’d like to explain how bonuses work with All Star Slots…for those that don’t want to read through the whole response, I’ve bolded the key points out for you.

Unfortunately the Wizard Gaming software isn't configured to give players the opportunity to opt out of bonuses, however isn't to tie you down like many other bonuses from other casinos do. Our bonuses are exactly that... bonuses – to benefit your playing rather than hinder and restrict your options. All bonuses are governed by our Quick Cash Bonus system (details of which you can find on our website).

Currently all bonuses are subject to 25x wagering requirements. For a $100 bonus, a player will have to wager $2,500 (25x100) to move all the $100 into the cash balance. However as we use an incremental method, after every $125 that is wagered, $5 will automatically be converted from your bonus balance into your cash balance, meaning that you will get your bonus into real cash a lot quicker than other places.

If you wager from your Cash Balance and win a prize, the prize will be credited to your Cash Balance.

If you wager from your Bonus Balance and win a prize, the prize will be credited to your Bonus Balance.

If you wager and it consists of funds from your Bonus Balance and Cash Balance and then win a prize, the prize will be credited to your Bonus and Cash Balances in the same ratio as your bet.

All wagering (from either balance) will contribute to the wagering requirements that will ultimately convert your bonus balance.

Bonuses have no restrictions upon your cash balance. We have a policy where only once a player has wagered 1x their deposit, they are allowed to withdraw from their cash balance, (this is to stop us being targeted by fraudulent activity and other criminal actions such as money laundering).

Essentially, you can play as if the bonus isn’t there and it will not interfere with your gameplay (or your withdrawals), however whether a player actively plays with it in mind or not, every $125 wagered will move $5 from the bonus balance into the cash balance.

I hope this helps explain our bonuses better. If anyone has any further questions, please feel free to ask, or even PM me.

    Kind regards,
    Denny

This seems very similar to the Microgaming bonus system, at least as it was when it was introduced. Now, we all know what happened to that! It had devolved back into the minefield of traps, confiscations, and even roguery, that was around before it was introduced.

Can players be confident that this slightly tweaked version will not go the same way.

In particular, can the system handle "advantage play" properly. If a player under Microgaming had 100 + 100 bonus, they could place 200 on Black (roulette) or 200 on a hand at blackjack, and if they won, had 400, 300 of which they could immediately cash out, ditching their original bonus.

Wizard seems to guard against this, because your ratio idea seems to mean the result of such a wager would be 200 + 200 bonus, and not the 300 + 100 as in Microgaming.

The pitfall though, is when the player has lost all their cash, and has only bonus money left. If they win big on a high variance game, such as a slot, this would ALL be bonus (ratio cash to bonus of 0%:100% for the bet), and this would seem to give them a very big WR before they could ever cash out. This could lead to both "advantage" and normal recreational players being clobbered by the protection mechanisms for guarding against "advantage" play.

At least Wizard seem to have put more thought into this than Microgaming did before going live with the system.
