    The longest playtime

Well, I keep having people ask me where I think they can get the longest playtime for their $.

This is a conundrum for me, because I tend to shy away from really huge bonuses since the playthrough usually is unacceptable from my point of view.

These players are interested in the entertainment value, and don't anticipate winning much. They are mostly female, so I assume they may be housewives who don't want to spend or lose much money, but they like to play and have time to spend.

At this time I try to recommend low variance slots (oh yeah, these are slot players BTW) and I try to find the highest bonuses with the least playthrough.

But I wonder if I am doing the right thing with that. And I have trouble relating because one of my worst playing experiences ever was when I played on a big bonus and I was winning like crazy, the playthrough was forever and I would have been able to only withdraw a small amount. After hours of playing I just purposefully ran several thousand dollars into the ground as fast as possible because I was sick of it all. I should have just left, lol, but I actually stated getting angry and went on make it or break it mode playing the highest possible bet on the hightest variance machine. I really hated that experience.

But, not everyone feels that way and there is no right or wrong there, it's personal preference. Probably, one of these players in my place would have been happy to leave and do it all over again the next day, getting tons of bang for their buck. And possibly cashing out a little more than they deposited.

What would you recommend for players who want the longest possible playtime in slots as their main objective? A certain way of playing? Certain bonuses? Certain slots?

I find that if i am low on funds, and want to extend my playing time, that VegasBum's method of playing works quite well. I will play 1-9 lines at a time--quite often i will have a very good hit, especially on Warlock's spell or Diamond Dozen. For me, the older slots have the lowest variance, and you can play for a long time on $20, a few lines at a time. i also don't stay at one slot very long--if i am not hitting a feature or a line win, i go to another slot, unless there is a large random.

Hi Dom, Same_old here-nice to meet you

This might be a perfect idea to start up two sections on your own site, literally explain what you just have on your site and then have the list of casino's in that section, for example,

One section with big bonuses but also state that they have high turn over requirements and then also state from your own expereince that they WILL get good play time but the chances of cashin out are slim. then have your other section with low bonuses with less play through and literally have a little write up about that aswell.

As you say it is each person to there own so if you can cater for most of those personalities with a little write up then it's a win win really.

    Just my two cents.

If I want to see how a casino runs then I might go for a big bonus knowing that chances are I wont cash out. If im playing on a regular basis at a casino I try not accept any bonus with mad ratios. Just not worth it. Prefer to play with my own money win or loose. That way I know where I am. Most gamblers play to win and nothing in this world is free. Others have different views, suppose it depends what you want of the experience.

Thats of course true - but if they are in it for the entertainment value, I bet the bonus rounds are the funnest part, and you're not going to hit any that way.

I guess that is taking it to the extreme, and I actually saw a couple in Vegas playing that way, for hours. They had fun too and were giggling... probably the free drinks lol.
