    Download vs. Instant Play

Just wondering others preference here. I'm wondering if Instant Play is safer because I don't believe cookies are put in your computer.

    Any thoughts? Thanks!

Cookies shouldn't have anything to do with it really. Downloaded software is always going to be more secure and look better so i'd go with the downloaded version every time. Instant play software is rubbish if you ask me, it looks cheap and rarely impresses as much as a download client.

as long as you've got a good enough internet connection you'l be fine to play online and not need to download any software, installing and uninstalling ruins your computer

I'm really interested in a supporting explanation for this claim. Can you provide more details, please?

"The standard Add/Remove program can't uninstall applications completely which offen leaves broken registry keys ,unnecessary files on the hard disk. The more junk files your computer have ,the slower it runs."

see the link it's in a paragraph down near the bottom of the page, this is just to answer your question.

My original post was also to answer a posted question.

The chioces are all yours to take, if you intend on keeping the software on your pc then its perfectly safe to download and play.

I agree with Rhyzz here, the downloaded versions are far more superior to the flash versions of their software.

    Great thread

I have been wondering myself on the best option - I have players who never download and I have players who will only download.

Right now I am finding that more players are doing no download - I find some of the flash has really improved (NETENT) - I am finding doing both covers all casino players. I know on the poker side it's 60 download 40 web - Anyone here deal with RTG???? I am thinking of adding them to my offering.

I prefer to play download. But in the case of microgaming download casino. I often end up having to uninstall it, as it takes up over 2.5gb of harddrive space. After uninstalling I then have to clear out the left over files stored in my applications data folder under MGS. Which can be as much as 2GB of data. It just takes up too much space. So although I prefer the microgaming download casino. I mostly play flash. I haven't really noticed much difference between the too in terms of graphics and playability. And the games on flash seem to load quicker and the slots spin faster. Only big difference is amount of games to choose from. Rtg download casinos are no bother. They hardly take up any space. And I have noticed the same with everest. Generally if I have enough harddrive space I will use the download casino. The random results seem exactly the same to me. Just less game choice with the flash.
