Microgaming coming up with the first 243 ways Video Slot!!

Burning Desire is the first Internet slot to make use of ways instead of
paylines to calculate wins. Instead of a set configuration of paylines, the slot calculates wins on left-to-right combinations regardless of their position on
each reel. A winning combination is any combination from left to right
(starting on Reel 1) of winning symbols. In order to pay, a winning
combination must begin on the first reel, and contain symbols on each
subsequent reel in any position (top, center, or bottom). Burning Desire
presents a new and more exciting way to play, where instead of being
constrained by the number of pay-lines, the player can generate more winning opportunities - up to 243 of them.

i cant wait for that one!

Hi, wagerworks has already got this type of slot with triple fortune dragon. It also has 243 paylines.

Good that MG are doing one but as Lookaway says, WW use IGT's patented "MultiWay" system in Triple Fortune Dragon, and indeed Boss Media also have one whose name i cant remember ("Deep Sea"?) but is based around deep sea diving.

...though 243 Ways was first produced, and patented, by Aristocrat.

IGT and Aristocrat have locked horns before and will undoubtedly lock horns again.

Woooof

Setsuna is very cool!Setsuna is very cool!
Some screenshots there :

Also , this MG licensee seem to have info on other games upcoming

http://www.jbetcasino.com/games_trip...table_game.php

Interesting switch on Casino Hold'em ... but why MG didn't have a proper Casino Hold'em, by the way ?

http://www.jbetcasino.com/games_bearly_fishing.php

Possibility to get 15 spins x6 - except that, nothing really new.

http://www.jbetcasino.com/games_track_fieldmouse.php

AWP winspinner-like, already on the Flash version, not interesting at all.

IGT has the land slots Carnival of Mystery and Aztec Temple that are 243 lines.

I always notice that when I see a feature in a land casino (like the exploding wilds in T2 are similar to Blazing Pheonix) MG comes out with a game that has similar features.

Personally, I avoid the Aristocrat brand of land slots like the plague. The best paying land slots imho are Williams Gaming. (WMS). Somebody bought them I think. Was it IGT?

The IGT are actually not 243 line slots. All symbols are just left-to-right scatter symbols.

Lets say you have 5 identical symbols on line 1.
This should pay:
5 symbols:1 time
4 symbols:2 times
3 symbols:6 times

But you only get the pay for the 5 symbols.

Indian Dreaming was the first 243 winning combination aussie pokie machine that was released in 1999 by Aristocrat in Australia. Since then others like this have hit the Australian market.

Would be nice to see the MG version.

This is Indian Dreaming 243 pay, one in a series of aussie pokie machines that were emulated to PC.

Of course I just happen to have them all.
These days they're as hard to find as hens teeth.
