I have to say I impressed! For the first time in in two years, I got a good run at Rtg. Hit a royal, and played for 14 hours! Did not cash out, but I could have!
Have not been able to say that in a long time! After 14 hours, my butt hurts,lol
Will probably take a break for a while after that run . Was fun!

If you guys ever learn to play mahjong you could be glued to your seats for double the time. My record is 25 hours of mahjong in one session

BTW, its aladdinsgold not alladinsgold. I made the same mistake at least twice when trying to gain access to the site and naturally, there was an error message.

I haven't played majong in over 20 years. Use to sit around the kitchen table with company and as you said chuchu played hours upon hours. At times left the game on hutch in other room to continue on when the company came back.
I wonder if i still recall how to play.

I have spent a few hours playing the online version of it on pogo. Never played it for real though.

Other than the gambling parts, this game can also reflect a person's character. It is wide practice in the old days for future sons-in-law to have their characters tested through a game of mahjong. A seemingly mild-tempered person could easily become antagonistic if he is dealt poor tiles. I have seen this before where a very senior colleague was regarded as the perfect gentleman. After he encountered several poor hands, he was cursing everyone else at that table. It just shows that a person's true character cannot be hidden under peculiar circumstances.

Have to admit that I might have been tempted to withdraw after hitting a Royal!
