    Credit/Debit Cards

If I want can I switch Credit/Debit cards in my casino account. I have one but its linked to my checking account and sometimes the casinos are too slow to make their withdrawal when I do have the money and then decide two or three days later they want to take it causing overdrafts in my account. I rather use a different card so I won't have the hassle of covering overdraft fees and such.

    yes you can

but if you didnt spend the money that you deposited then you wouldnt have the overdraft fees cause you spending it elseware is what causes the fees not the 2 or 3 days later that they take it

    Good Luck

I had the funds to cover it. I didn't spend any of it because the bank automatically put it aside for them to receive it just at the time I wasn't watching what was going in and out and also other fees were being charged as well from them. But that is a different story altogether. I just don't want to use my checking account to make anymore withdrawals to online casinos.

This is simple to do, just ask the casino to deregister the card. This may not even be necessary unless you can no longer register further cards.

They may well ask some security questions before deregistering the card.

The only complication I have experienced with this is that the casino will often still try to pay back to the old card if this is possible, at least to cover a refund of deposits made with the card. In most cases however, card companies do not accept credits, it seems that the UK is one of only a few countries where card issuers will gladly accept both deposit returns and winnings after the card has been used to make casino deposits. Many casinos still do not accept this exception, and insist it is impossible to refund to cards, and will expect an alternate method to be selected.

I use the bank wire method. Because I know its difficult to do this on a credit or debit card. Yes I have every intention of switching cards but I let the casino know that I am doing this so they won't suspect I am cheating them.

    Hi Vege,

The problem with switching from credit to debit cards, is this is a usual fraud tactic i.e. deposit with stolen credit card, then withdraw back to proper debit card, and clear out the funds.

Lots of gaming companies are very strict on this, so you will encounter delays and problems.

    Best regards,

    Dazzla

I have a debit card but it comes up as a credit card in some UK casinos/sportsbooks, so they have no clue. It's not a UK debit card though.
