As the post above indicates, as far as I am aware it's not written down anywhere that
MG will step in. Publically at least. In the past to the best of my knowledge whenever an
MG casino has gone down or been taken over, players have been paid and the general assumption is that
MG take steps to ensure this is a condition of any buy-out. Presumably to protect their own rep as much as anything.
To be honest, I think almost 100% of the time any
MG casino that goes under will get bought out as it will have a history and database worth acquiring. And most
MG's are part of bigger groups anyhow so most go through scaling down.
Quite how that sits now they have pulled out of the US though, who knows. Guess we'll find out in time.
