    telemarketing casinos

Missed a call on my cell from 800 550 1259. Called it back and was told that it was a telemarketing company. Asked him for what? Several online casinos. but he couldn't or wouldn't say which ones.

Been getting many spam emails lately also.

Someone at one of my casinos is selling/giving what I thought was confidential information to marketers.

    Anyone else getting calls?

Try calling their bluff. Tell them that since they "do not know" or "won't say" which casinos they market, it is THEY you may report to the US authorities for telemarketing an "illegal activity" by attempting to induce you to comitt an illegal transaction with one of their clients.
They may then suddenly "remember" which online casino they were promoting so that any legal liability would shift from them to their client, and they could simply say they were acting under instruction. It might work, and if you have your number on a "do not call" list the telemarketing company would be liable anyway.

I understand from our own regulator that they are seeking international cooperation to combat the all too common dodge of basing the telemarketing company offshore (from the country being marketed to) in order to trample over all the rules and regulations put in place to combat this nuisance.
Phone "spam" is far worse than junk mail and email spam, simply because the phone has to be dealt with at once (it is ringing), rather than when you have time yourself to go through this junk in one go.

    RE:

My guess would either be the Fortune Lounge group or the Virtual group. Virtual is annoying. They will call 3-4 times a week with their bonus trap promotions. I never deposited and they still call.

Given the fact MGS has pulled out of the USA and does not allow new registrations from this country.

As adedpoet is in the US. I'm intrigued as to how you've surmised Fortune Lounge Group are possibly responsible?

    Cheers

I wasn't aware that the Fortune Lounge group pulled out of the US. I'm going by past experiences. They at one time, did telephonic marketing as well as the entire Virtual Group. That is why I mentioned them.

I get calls from the full suite of virtual Group bozos. (Back in the day I had accounts at each). I've asked to be removed from their call lists, but go figure, it doesn't work. Highly annoying.

These casinos should just save their money to pay players (yeah, right). I would never join a casino that approached me by telephone.
