Is anyone going to make a New Years resolution for gaming?

Cut down playing, cut down depositing, set a limit on deposits or withdrawals, quit?


For me, I want to cut down on withdrawals. I also want to make myself not reverse!!!!!!

I made a New Years resolution 4 years ago - before I use to deposit 100-200 a week. My resolution was to only play my overtime pay and only up to 100 a week. I would also not play the month of December ( all extra money goes to buying kids Christmas gifts) I have made many other resolutions through the years ( diet, exercise) I can honestly say I have kept my gambling one for 4 years now - the other ones not so much.

I already cut back about 3 weeks ago so Ill try to stay that way for awhile, especially If I dont have w/ds' lol

My usual resolution is not to have one so I dont disappoint myself

I started my "not gambling online" resolution about 2 months ago, hard to break it when you can't deposit without jumping through flaming hoops and as you get halfway through they turn the flame up and burn your ass every time.

I've decided to stop online gaming, at least for awhile. I have limited options (US player) and am hoping sometime soon the bans get lifted on online gaming in the USA.

I've also decided I will only give myself one trip to a casino and maximize my losses at $150. This means that at most I would lose $1800. I know that doesn't sound great, but I generally can win every other or every third time, so I'd be fine with $1000 over a 12 month period or so. I think one trip will not only make each experience more enjoyable, but will do wonders for my bank account.

For many years, I have only made resolutions to DO things, not to stop things. Most of them over the last couple of decades I have kept, and I review them yearly to remind myself of how I am doing. The only resolution I have abandonned is to eat more soy.

None of next year's front runners for resolutions have to do with my gambling.
