Bonuses...Slots Oasis-A story...

Ok, I have seen some asking about bonuses for this new casino. I already played a few times there and thought o myself...aww go ahead...see what all the hoopla is about..as many know I really hate bonuses..but this was such a teaser that I just HAD to check it out..

So I did...

I deposited $101 (way over my limit) but for the bonus of 150% and wagering requirements one must get a head start , right?

I played for about 2 minutes and hit HUGE! (go figure, it had to happen cause I took the bonus didn't it!) Withing minutes I went from $250 to almost $800 betting $2 bucks a round..so I go see how much more wagering I had to do and it was in the THOUSANDS...sheesh..and all for what? to play back money I would have hit if I didn't take the bonus?

Anyway, I had a great time...I figure that was my donation for the year and played and played...I got it over $1100 and checked my wagering and it did move to about $4000 to wager...again I am thinking..people really do this on PURPOSE?

So now I am sitting there laughing at myself knowing how dumb this move was FOR ME cause for slots only, I really do not have the patience to just sit and play... I love blackjack a LOT and I sometimes go there to ease the boredom but playing on this bonus has tied my hands (again I say..why did I do this??)

So I continue my play and my balance is slowly creeping down in a downward spiral.....hurrying to check again and got only $$171 to go to meet the WR.

So I go back in and play some more and then I dropped another hundred with a few wins in between..and low and behold..I hit the mark ! But I got some odd dollars there and decided to play another $80 thinking maybe it would move up a little but alas...lost that too..so I went to cash out (YES! I did get a few dollars and some ulcers and a few greys) and forgot they require faxback forms..

Guys...do you all really do this each and every time when taking a bonus??? I am amazed how hard it is to meet the WR..../all I could think of was..I could have withdrawn $800 within minutes of playing but ended up with ONLY $450...not worth it...I am giving up the koolaid...I think this broke me for another few years...

Anyone that wants my bonus offers..feel free to take them away!

But really had fun..hit a few good bonus rounds ...and was grateful for them...glad this casino still gives them to us...!

See my post that I posted today. (slots oasis bonus question) I hit right away too, but not as big as you. At least you got to cash out. I think I am the only person here to never win big, I'm not joking, I honestly NEVER win.

i will never ever take a bonus when depositing unless it says in black and white 10 times w/r on yadda yadda games and no max cashout, the one and only way i will ever use them, did that years ago and learned my lesson the hard way.......................laurie

i took a 15% bonus from rushmore once without reading the T&C's. i deposited 100$ to get 15$ bounus money and found myself having to play through x25. so this was my deposit + bonus which = 2875$. that is so tight imo. guess it was my fault. i mean rule 101 read the T&C's

Laurie...I am with you here..after all the hours it took to meet the wr...I was exhausted...it definitely broke me of playing with any bonuses except ND or free chips or a nice little gift..but....no more BONUSES!

...And having a scan of a ID and card and utility bill stored on the computer makes the faxback forms a bit easier.

WTG Silcnlayc! Yea bonuses sucks at time. I said earlier on I would rather place a 50/50 beat on roulette. Hoping to double up and go from there. You got very lucky to even make a cashout. These bonuses are nothing but robbery. Any B&M casino would just make you wager ONCE and thats it. To make someone turn over $100 X 25 times is crazy, Especially on slots! I too would be upset at losing $350 just to meet some outragous requirement. But you came out ahead and learned a valuable lesson.

Sure did.....and I sure was lucky..I still do not know how anyone can do this...I am truly speechless for the ones that have this much patience to follow through on such a tedious chore IMO..for such a small return....

But, I am grateful that I made it and also grateful I do not do this too often...gets expensive buying the dye jobs for the grey one grows during these spells IMO..

That was a brilliant post!! I really wished I put It like that a couple of years ago when I joined here. I dont know how long Ive been telling people its not worth it. Ill take free money with WR (like a no dep bonus) but I dont remember the last time I took and RIval, MG or RTG bonus. Oh yeah, I do remember , my mistake!! I did take one manager bonus that was unsolicited. It was only $10 so I figured, what the heck. Wouldnt you know I hit over $650 on JP pinatas. What? Oh Max cashout was $100. Yeah , I got a $100 free BUT If i would of dep that $10 I would of cashed out for who knows how much. I was almost at $700 when they took it out of my account. PFFFFFt

And this is why I am still shaking my head and chuckling at myself over my choice of play with bonus...Knowing better does not constitute doing it! and one cannot help but give it a "shot" every once in a while to appease the curiousity of others choices ...
