Just back from Macau where Ted and I played lots of IGT "Bonus Poker" 50-hand play ( see Pat 4-deuces SS below
). Anyway it got me thinking how online casinos have video poker so wrong, so I got on the phone to Wagerworks and asked if they had any plans in this area?
They said, it was a discussion pont, but video poker play was small and they were undecided if that was because their offering was poor or it just wasn't a very popular game. IMO, it's very poor so I told them my opinion
Upshot is, I thought a poll of Wagerworks players might be a useful indication as to which was the factor. If you play at Wagerworks casinos, have a vote and I'll point them at the thread.
As an aside, the IGT game is so much better than online versions and I worked out why. Two small but very important reasons IMO. Firstly, playing multi-hand, the hands are revealed up the screen rather than down which seem s more natural. But more importantly, when you get a 4-oak or something decent, there is a slight pause.
Now Cryptologic VP is the best IMO, but I don't play there since they introduced that "feature" of re-introducing discarded cards. Wtf? No thanks. And MG VP also offers plenty of options, but is boooring, mainly due to the lack of short pause when a decent hand hits.
IGT have it spot on, and Wagerworks are ideally positioned to make this work online IMO.
