Mg bring out their customizable slot in December.
I expect the game-play options will be fairly generic but you will no doubt be able to upload your own graphic files as symbols.

I am pretty sure Simmo has been requesting this for some time.

Wait until some idiot loads their slot machine with offensive images (imagine the worst things you can-it will happen. It will wind up reflecting very poorly on MG. I love the idea, but the potential for abuse is tremendous.

I am pretty sure your own creations will only be available to you personally.
I dare say MG will run some type of promo/contest where the best ones win a prize or pride of place in the Casinos proper.

Your creations may be 'only available to you personally', but anyone can take a screen shot and post it. Something that's really offensive could create a sizable backlash on the casino or the software provider.

We can do that now from a screenshot and then further editing it to add our own "reel" screen depictions in with one of the photo editing softwares available...

This is probably a Thunderstruck clone base game, and all we would be able to do would be to populate the symbol graphics with our own. These would reside on our own PC, and the casino would not know what symbols we were using.
This could be how they already do the cloned slots, but now they will perhaps let us clone all the basic slot types in the end, and they will no longer need to release cloned games, but can concentrate on completely new slot engines.
There is no way they will allow any aspect to be customised that affects the RTP or variance of the game.
If there is a problem with offensive images bringing MG into disrepute, they will probably suspend the game.

It is ALREADY possible to do this, but it means finding the MGS common files, and replacing the slot symbols.

The casinos could indeed tie this in with a promotion, and award a prize to the best set of symbols, and maybe make available the winners as a separate "guest slot", as is available with Cryptologic software.

Not me , I just have an unfailing belief that there's always a small percentage of morons that will find a way to bastardize a good idea and ruin it for everyone else.
