play for fun vs. play for real

play for fun vs. play for real... is the payout the same ?
thinking about for example RTG, Rival, Playtech, Microgaming...

i seem to have a lot of luck when playing for fun at RTG and also
    Microgaming...

In play mode I would be a millionaire if it was real money.
The slots are loose as a goose I think.
This goes with anyplace you may pick to play for free.
I think most places would like you to think it payouts like that.
