im feeling pretty low now, just had a email from james(octavio) he has lost his job and they fired him, my beef was with dean and the casino upper management and owner about how they jerk people around, i forwarded the email to babs, kakata, bingot and j todd as proof, he disputes what i had said and i was even reminded that tomorrow is 9/11 and what i did to him was an act of terrorism.i had asked this roger not to fire octavio as the management knew all about this and it should have been them that got fired, look all i wanted is mystics money paid to her, they cant fire dean as he quit or was fired or andre as he skipped off with another mgr. and got married.i didnt know trying to right a wrong would be so painful and so hurtful to others including myself, shoulda maybe kept it all to myself after all, i didnt want to hurt everyone, just those responsable for the lying and cheating that has gone on so long at poc and to those players affected, being too kind hearted has been my biggest flaw imo, need to get more cynical and hateful and vindictive as person to fit in with the rest of the world but that wouldnt be me..............laurie

Come on Laurie don't fall into the trap of self pity.
If you lie amongst vipers you are sure to get bit.
You have done the right thing but there was bound to be fallout.
I have no personal beef with the guy that got fired but he was working for a corrupt outfit, he must have known that and been party to at least some of the despicable actions of this Casino.
Even if he is an innocent he should be glad of the opportunity to get away from this group and can use his sacking as evidence that he was not complicit in any wrongdoings to his benefit when courting a reputable outfit.

I said I would not post again but for the life of me I cannot understand why Laurijim should feel sorry for any one that got fired over this mess. And why are they emailing you and whinning about it? Did you force these people to work for a sludge pit outfit like POC? I don't think so.

In my many years of working I have worked for some good people and some crooks. What I could tell you about tax evasion and security fraud would curl your hair. Most of the time I got out as fast as I could but sometimes you just try to wait it out. All of this was a personal choice. That is what these people made - a personal choice. You cannot work in a dirt pile and not get dirt on you. (Cleaned it up a bit but you get my drift.)

Laurijim, you are not their best friend and they are certainly not yours. Your feelings should go to Mysticjoz and the others that got screwed by these people, not for the employees that knowing worked for a bunch of crooks. Quit agonizing about what happens to them and work to help right a wrong.

Well Laurie i sure think you could use a hug right about now. I also got taken by this group of casinos. Im a little bewildered that the casino would even think of discussing another players account in the first place. And to make matters worse the guilt trip they are placing on you with giving you information that they are firing personal. Hang in there girl what you did was right coming forward with this and im sure you will have a lot of support from cm members here me included.

I have to say I agree with anniemac's post.....I wouldn't waste one breathe or one thought on feeling sorry for anyone who CHOOSES to work for an outfit such as this. They don't deserve one tiny bit of pity....it's just a waste of time.
