imhop, You should always know the answer to this question, based on the results of either winning or losing the prior bet, and before actually making the next bet.
The answer to this should *always* be "the same as your last bet"...ie anything other than flat betting is asking for trouble (and usually the basis for a "<blank> software is rigged" thread). As for win goal/loss limit etc. I totally agree. I know I am becoming addicted when I start choosing my addiction over other things. Time to back away.
