Quite, but why the big update when no new games have appeared?

That's really a very good question and i asked myself sometims on bodog casino, because they make some updaters, but after that nothing new happens and they even have the old RTG Slots, so the newest one was the update with the "Big Shot, Triple Toucan, Victory, Funky Monkey and Fame & Fortune" Slots and this is really a long time ago.

I don't understand this, because they're even one of the biggest RTG casinos, so why won't they make an update for the newest games?

I was asking the same question VWM.

I am not drawing any conclusions but before the update I was getting plenty of retiggers, good free spin frequency and excellent returns.

Since I have gone about 20 free spin rounds various slots without a single retirigger and nearly all have payed poorly, I am waiting around every 200 spins to trigger about Twice as long as previously and my overall RTP has dropped away from just over 100% to about 70%
I have not done exact calculations but these figures will not be far off.

Of course I was winning before the update so I was "due" a losing streak anyway (I wish winning streaks were as predictable ) so it could be entirely coincidental.

We shall probably never know.

Did the update contain any changes to the RTPs for current games?

This big update seems to have happened at many RTG casinos, and did NOT coincide with the addition of the new games at them all.

We have already found not that RTP changes are a feature of this software, and that they are requested by operators through RTG, who have to implement them. Clearly, and implementation of a change in RTP would have to involve changes to the image files stored on the client PC for such things as paytables, and even the slot reels would need to be changed if slot RTPs changed. This would result in an update of considerable size being needed, which would result in the symptoms of "lag" reported here.

If there have been no changes such as this, then someone needs to explain what was updated instead that took up such bandwidth

It is weird because when I logged in for the first time after the new games were installed there was no update at all.
Maybe they sought of pre-install them before they go live?

It is either crash,bang,wallop hit everything or
Hit nothing for a long a long time and then, see above

The good news is I have had four amazing winning streaks here the bad news is I have had as many amazing losing streaks
