When Is It O.K To Ask For A Free Chip Or Bonus?

if you spend several thousands of dollars at a casino over a period of weeks, would you ask for a free chip/ bonus? i have had no problems getting these at my usual casinos, but i dont want to seem rude or without class, how much should one play or have spent since playing at any certain casino before they ask for one?i have thought this over many times and my feeling is if you have made deposits and had a poor playing exp., it isnt wrong to ask, i can see how many casinos are leary having some players who ask for these one right after another while not making regular deposits, just wanted to know if this is right or wrong in your opinion?..................laurie

    Good question.
I would say, if you spend a lot without any decent withdrawal, it is fine to ask. Though there is very little chance you get free bonus (or worthwhile free bonus), and there is quite a chance you'd end up feeling uneasy or even may be humiliated by refusal... Just an example: I spent about 4K in Ladbrokes in two weeks, emailed them and bitched a bit (really mildly ) that I did not receive free scratchcard, no loyalty points of any kind, nothing. They were unbelievably generous and gave me $10 bonus Mind you, I did not ask for any bonuses directly.

...did I appreciate it? Umm... hard to say

thats what i would expect from Ladbrokes to be honest Fluer, thier position on the UK high street seems to give them a large arrogance and ego, ive played there a huge chunk myself and while a good experience on the whole, the lack of loyalty incentives if making me think otherwise, time for me to go back to 32RED me thinks, a much better outfit in all.

    "More porridge please Sir."

    "More. More? More!"

Hey they don't feel bad about taking your money so why should you feel bad about asking for some of it back?

Truth is you should not have to ask.

Exactly how I feel...you shouldn't have to ask, so I don't. If anyone feels like throwing me sometihng, that's fine with me, but to me it just becomes part of the competition between the casinos. All in all, the better they treat me, without me having to ask (read beg...I hate to beg), the more they'll see me

I agree totally. We all have our favorite casinos. But I agree with Rusty. You shouldn't have to ask. If your fave sees you've been faithfully depositing and not reaping any benefits at all, they will usually give you a little something extra in your account and treat all their customers the same within reason. (ie: IMO ...yes I think customers who deposit more should get more of a bonus or bonuses more frequently! )

i have to say i have been a regular depositor at grand mondial and to me they have been over and above generous to me also intertops and red flush they are also generous to me . and i think if your a regular depositor you should be able to ask for free chip. but i do agree you should'nt have to ask they should just surprise you with a free chip. i love when that happens a freebie by surprise.

good luck all at your favorite casinos.

I use to ask for a free bonus everytime I made a deposit, if I made 20 deposits a day I asked for 20 bonuses and never had any problem getting them, until one day I realized that if you do get these bonuses/free chips your only allowed to cash out 2x the bonus amount, it is so not worth it. I got a 25.00 free chip one time and I won 4,000.00, they said I was allowed to cash out 50.00, after I already lost 75,000,00 of my own money. I did complaine and they did give me the 4,000.00 but I never played using a free chip or bonus again. Good Luck to you

Geeze.............sure do hate it when that happens By the time you evaluate all the "tricks" used to keep any money you "win" you can lose interest in even playing! (Except for KK.....he always wins )
