Online Video Poker preference

I was curious as to see what you think is the best kind of video poker to play and your reason why you feel your way is best: Im not speaking of how to play it because obviously max bet is best even if you are a lowroller.

1. Double Jackpot Pokers
2. All American
3.Double Double JP
4.Joker Pokers
5.Jacks or better
6.Bonus Pokers..like deuces, mystery or pickem
7.Wild cards...like aces&eights,sevens etc

I just curious because Ive been playing the bonus Deuces Wild, I get alot of small hits because of the 2's giving me an advantage but is it better to win on natural hands and get less wins because it pays more? I see alot of Roual Flushes and in 2 yrs only got it one time when playing 50cents (10 cent)

Double Bonus or Double Double Bonus follwed by Deuces Wild are my favourites. 50-hand normally. Be aware that MG Deuces Wild single hand has a lower expected return (ER) than multi-hand due to a smaller payout on 4 deuces. Deuces Wild is lower variance than the other two. Bonus Deuces Wild even lower.

As always, no matter what the game, always play max coins (5) for the best ER.

I myself like the double double bonus or Aces and faces ( at the Rival casinos) If I play deuces it is always the bonus deuces. and I agree w/ Simmo always play the max coins. Which is what I hate about MG casinos w/ their .25 min demon. on most of the VP games.

Not so keen on Rival's VP. I like the fact you can do 25-hand, but the fact it only holds winning combos, plus it reveals them all at the same time makes it very boring. MG is better...in fact, Crypto's is the best game for fun value, even though their paytables are a little weaker and they do that crap thing of throwing the old cards back in. If you could combine MG's paytables with Crypto's "feel" you'd have the ideal combo.

I agree MG is the best for VP - I just wish they would lower the denom. on the single and 4 play. Im a low roller and I only play max coins..

deuces wild and joker poker are more fun to play, as the wildcards make the gameplay more interesting... but the payouts are not very good, the lowest on deuces wild being 3 of a kind... however if you get a five of a kind or 4 deuces the payout is very good...

Jacks or better gives out the best payouts for the hands, but can be boring to play after a while... and I tend to move on to something else after a bit... however I prefer the payouts for jacks or better.. and I think jacks or better is the best one to start out on if you're a beginner...

I think that MG videopoker is the best one, I always seem to do slightly better on M.G videopoker than on any other software... I think this must be due to M.G videopoker having the best payouts...

I think the odds on the multiple line power pokers are better for hitting good hands, but they are more expensive to play and you need a big bankroll to get anywhere with them if you play max coins. If you play less than max coins it isn't worth bothering with, due to payouts being too small...

Thanks for this information. I found that Grand Mondial Casino also offers 10-play power poker for $0.01 and $0.02 coin sizes. So one can play 5 coins per hand for a total bet of $0.50 and $1.00. I think that Grand Mondial Casino and Roxy Palace (and perhaps Casino Splendido) are the only Microgaming casinos offering this feature. Does anyone know of any other Microgaming casino that does?

Im curious as to how people view video poker.

Video poker does not reflect true odds, eg. 4000/1, or so for a royal flush. I dont think it is a secret as the odds are advertised. Chasing a royal flush would be a mugs bet.

I'm assuming they pay out on fixed %

Taking a guess at 95%, how would any kind of strategy work other than basic poker strategy?
