    lj the unsubscribe link on most spam is just a phishing link for another site. never unsubscribe. they will eventually stop emailing you on their own. currently i'm the lucky recipient of tons of spams from wealthy nigerian bankers who cant get their millions out of the country. they cycle. few weeks on few weeks off. i havnt recieved casino spam in a long time. i guess there is no room since the liquid viagra mail takes up all the space.

    Should never unsubscribe if you dont know who its from - you're effectively telling them your email is valid by doing so. Get a decent spam filter (I use Spam Arrest) - it should trap most of them.

    It's sad but use a seperate email when you are signing up at new sites. I know that is where most of my spam comes from. Try to keep a private addy for your personal stuff.

    I get roughly 1000 spams a day & im past getting worked up about it. It will only drive u insane

    Unfortunately I am getting more and more snail mail spam and my most recent was this effort from JackpotCity;

    Dear *******
    My name is Joaqim and I was the lucky winner of 1,453,610.18 etc

    it concludes;

    To make sure you stand a chance of winning when you start playing here are my top 3 casino tips:

    Always play progressives-they pay out the most
    Always max bet-its the fastest way to win
    and always keep some of your winnings!

    Now as far as I am aware progressives have the worse RTP of all the slots.
    Betting max is also the fastest way to lose
    Keeping some of your winnings is the only one that actually makes sense.

    I find this kind of promotion unethical and misleading but that is just MO.

    On a lighter note I think I will start a thread of most stupid casino spam headlines.
    Some of them are hilarious.

    You sure that was from Jackpot City and not someone purporting to be?

    I've starting reporting casino affiliates who spam me from any of the accredited casinos. Most casinos hate pissing off their customers and they're really good about making the affiliates stop. Last week I was getting spams from ClubWorld, one day I got 3! I contacted CWC affiliates and a very nice person there promised to spank whoever was sending them and I haven't gotten one since.

    Unfortunately I think the spam coming from GoldVIP or whatever they're called is coming right from them. They are quite funny though!

    Now that I've actually said something casino related, I gotta share this with you - I got this spam that I thought was so funny, I actually saved it:
