Tipping a dealer on Live dealer Playtech Casino

I have seen these boxes, however I have just seen posted by a company running some of these playtech casinos stating
Revenue is earned in three ways: facility fees, tips and royalties.
    and...
Any tips given by the customers to the dealers are generally divided equally between the Group and the licensee.
NEVER tip an online dealer, as you are just giving it as a gift to the casino

More importantly I think this is wrong for the casino to do!

    Any thoughts?

    That's outrageous !
I feel sorry for the poor chicks on there, as it is, and they're not even getting the tips ?
    Not a cent from me...ever!

Anyone knows who keeps the tips in a B&M casino?

Personally I think this is completely unethical

I know at the land casinos here in city if its a table tip it goes into a general box that the dealers split up at the end of the shifts. The same as if you played slots and tipped the slot runner its suppose to go into a seperate box they split up also. Online by looks of it the casino gets the better part of it.

See that I would not have a problem with.
I know that waiters do that too here ... put all the tips in a box, and split them among all the waiters, but if the casino runs away with the tips, i find that borderline disgusting.

    Is this for real?

Are there any people on this forum who are part of playtech that can confirm this?

When I tip a dealer I expect my money to go to the dealer not to the casino.

The dealers probably don't get paid a lot of money and work hard, and that is why I tip them. I don't want to give my money to the bloody casino who already has plenty.

If my tip is going to the casino, then the box should clearly say tip the casino.

What's worse is if the tip is going to the casino, then it is awful the dealer's have to say thankyou for your tip when they're not even getting it.

If this is true it is despicable and makes me feel very sad and angry...

I am so sick of cons and exploitations, making us players look stupid, its evil, nasty and out of order.

I hope the 3 ghosts of christmas visit these bloody hard hearted scrouges...

When i worked in a casino tips were generally split amongst all the dealers. If indeed the dealers are getting nothing from the tips at online casinos thats pretty outrageous

Man that sucks. When I tip someone for good service in a hotel for example I dont expect the hotel group to gobble half of it up. This is an example of casino profiteering at its most ugly - thanks for the heads up
