Tipping a dealer on Live dealer Playtech Casino

That is minging... the whole box in the corner is very misleading, decieving - I think I will make this information known to other players at the table, by pasting that link in the chatbox, and exposing the whole thing, they shouldn't be allowed to get away with this. I suspect I am going to end up being barred from a lot of casinos now - oh well...

I've actually visited these dealer rooms in the Philippines, and I was impressed that players could tip the dealers. No one said anything that the girls didn't receive any of it. I can check though.

I think I will wait and see what you can find out about the tips before I embark on a crazy quest to let others know about it, as I don't want to stop dealers losing a source of income...

It may seem like a small thing to get worked up about, but I really find this narks me...

It says clearly

Any tips given by the customers to the dealers are generally divided equally between the Group and the licensee.

ie the dealers get a massive ZERO!

friend of mine use to work as dealer on a "well known" cruise ship.
He told me once not to tip dealers cause what they get is

I spoke to one of the live dealers today whilst playing live roulette and will copy and paste the conversation below, will omit the dealer's name for dpa reasons:

Interesting, but the source I quoted was from a company that actually sell the licenses, which is obviously going to say where any company willl benefit.

Also all the chats are looked on by the pitboss, and obviously they wouldnt say anything else, as they could lose their job!

Hi Guys,

I have read the attached thread which has been pointed out to me today. I would like to confirm that tips make up part of the dealers compensation, so they do receive a % of the tips. Some also goes back to the online casinos. This is certainly not uncommon, i.e. that tips are shared between staff and "house". They certainly don't get it all and I don't believe anybody has ever made that claim. I would also say it is extremely rare in the casino industry that a dealer (or group of dealers) would get 100% of the tips given by punters. In nearly all land based gaming establishments (certainly in Asia), tips are either kept entirely by the operator, or shared out down the line between operator and dealers. Wherever Pam worked, she was very, very lucky!!

I would add that our dealers are very well paid by market comparison in the Philippines and it is a very sought after position based on the number of job applications we get for each vacancy!!

it has no mention of the dealer there, which implies the dealer gets a 0%
