About the "Best" casinos.

Hello, everyone!
Just wondering why the heck practically every casino on the Internet declare itself as "The Best Casino on the Net" or "№1" or somehow else like that? Who has given them the right to call itself "The Best"?

Best is about as subjective as you're going to get. It strictly depends where it is coming from. If its "Voted Best Casino" from McShill casino portal, then it's probably worthless. But if it's voted "best" from a recognized entity, then it's probably worth something. Things like "oldest" "newest" etc. are all measurable adjectives - so that's easier to claim.

It's very funny to see the brand new casino which declare itself as "The Best". They have just started their business, they haven't receive player's acknowledgement, they actually did nothing in order to receive the title of honour "The Best" - are they the Best???

Good point. For example, I know a casino who have won Casinomeister's "Best Casino" award since 2003

Many people wish to have all the best and to touch even for a short while the best.

Thing is though no punter with half a brain is going to believe a casino (or any product for that matter) is the "best" just because the owners/management/marketing spiel says so. I think the only time someone might believe it is if it comes from a 3rd party and even then it's largely subjective.

99 times out of a hundred it's just marketing or for SEO purposes and doesn't fool anyone.
