What I Have Decided About Online Casinos, F.W.I.W

i think imo that most casinos will have better days than others as well as the person playing. i was very quick to put alot of blame on 3- dice , which was wrong on my part as i have been playing at other casinos and have noticed the same thing, no really good hits and if you do hit a feature it seems to pay kinda crappy. i have been playing online for several years now and the last couple of months have seemed to be the worse by far.i have set myself on a budget now , will only play a certain amount at that casino and then move on, will try not to put the blame on a casino when im the one thats in charge of pushing the button and cashing out when i should, this is a very addictive form of entertainment for some and ill admit im one of those peeps.i will not give up my online entertainment but i will back off some.i know what the rush feels like when you hit a random jackpot or an awesome line bet, i have the screenies to prove that but i also know what a horrible feeling it is when you have lost enough money, that you could have paid your house off early, bought your kid a car or had a great vacation with your spouse.this is my own demon i will have to battle and again i do not admit a gambling problem , i just go way overboard with depositing and as off today that has stopped!!!!!.........just had to get this off my chest.......man i feel better already................................laurie

I agree 100 % - There was a time in the late 90s I played way above what I should have. I now only play on a budget ( so much per week) and I low roll. I still have way to much fun to ever quit playing but I do now play with a little more restraint

If you can get away from the money concept - playing for fun can be just as enjoyable. There are times when it is the game that attracts players, not so much the winnings.

I'd recommend the IGT games that can be found at http://www.Ledgaming.com

Or maybe for super-low stakes. How about a $0.09 spin on Spring Break. You still get the free spins, wilds and so on. I won more than $100 from a single spin on skullduggery at $0.01 per line. When my favourite soccer team Arsenal plays, I place a HKD10 bet on them regardless of the odds. That is equivalent to USD1.30. I am happy when they score and its totally painless if they dont win.

Go to an MG with a promo of 100%-150% match bonus, deposit $20 to $25 and play all your favourite slot games at 0.01 per line. You will have hours and hours of play. Dont try RTG though. The same stakes could burn you out sooner than you think.

I was about to say LED hasn't been updated in over a year, but I see they updated it and added WPT game but the online free play isn't linked yet... guess we'll wait another 6 months for it.

    Thumbs up

    Laurie,

I'm happy I went ahead and turned off your deposits when I did. I do hope you take the opportunity to meet up with some fellow CM members in our tournament and chat system, and I wish you all the strength needed to get in that spot where you are comfortable with the cost of your entertainment !

    All the best,

    Enzo & Team

Good for you Laurie!! What a great and honest outlook. I was thinking last night (i know, the world probably weakened for a minute). I hope this isnt derailing but it kind of has to do with it. Its just not you posting and talking about this stuff and not just 3 dice, as you said, all of them. Im wondering if the casinos are getting their last shot at some cash before the summertime. I know it sounds wierd but if you think about it, alot of people just dont go outside in the winter and are more apt to be online more than the summertime .

Im feeling Dejavu.....I might of written a post last year about this at the sametime. Im gonnna go look. If I did, than I bet this is true and this is the time of year they rake in one last bit

    Way to go lauriejim!
I, for one, think you'll be much happier by setting a limit to play with and giving casinos less money I hope it all works out for you and that now you'll enjoy your online gaming much more.
I do agree with those that say it is all casinos that have a poor payout rate.
I don't deposit much with each deposit and I am a low roller. However, I have seen a drastic decline in the playtime which does make it discouraging at most.
I've not won anything over $200(per win) in the year or so that I've been playing online and no I don't sit down at the computer with the mindset that I am playing to win.
No matter how many of us play for the entertainment factor, there does come a time where discouragement does set in from lack of winning.
Which brings me to a question that perhaps Casinomeister or anyone else with the knowledge of behind the scene info on casinos can answer.
Aside from the regular audits on casinos, do random audits take place in the fact that at any given time, without notice, an auditor can step into the place and do a random audit to see what they have the payout percentage set at and how these people are working the casino?
