    Are gamblers superstitious?...

Just wonder whether such thinking is typical for a gambler or if it is me only
I happened to have really lousy luck streak recently, online and offline, in casino and elsewhere... I felt so desperate, I even took to reading my daily horoscope before logging in to a casino to play, heh

However, it all seemed to change sometime around last weekend, and I can't but believe that it has something to do with the fact that a gorgeous-looking black cat appeared from nowhere and came to live in a parking lot near my appartment building. She/he sleeps under my car, and every morning since then when I come to take my car and go to work, I see this beauty, and she/he seems to look me straight in the eye. Totally BLACK CAT, not a white hair. Am I crazy or what?..

I used to be superstitious, then I realised it was just another trick of the mind. If we believe something is giving us luck then we hold onto it and every time we experience luck then it must be our lucky charm ().

I think superstitioin can benefit some Poker players, simply because having their lucky charm will give them a greater belief that they will win, therefore they make better decisions. Take their lucky charm away and they'll be so convinced that they'll lose that they'll subconsciously start making very bad decisions.

Anyone who gambles and believes that luck has any part of the outcome is superstitious to a point. I don't believe in luck; I believe in "shit happens".

But then I have my own favorite numbers....

The Chinese are big on luck and superstition. Go to any casino in Macau, and you'll be surprised at the amount of "red" people wear.

    yes, I do believe.

I even bought a yellow crystal ball. Every time I play, I put it in front of the screen.

Before I play online, I went star city casino very often. The lucky charm I brought with me include a piece of natural yellow crystal. A plate with number 888 and a small gold cat.

I don't believe luck has diddly squat to do with it either.
I am, however, superstitious when it comes to other things in life.
