Posters may be reluctant to name the casino since this might damage their ability to get the issue resolved. Unfortunately, it also hinders the others to give advice.
It seems odd that they won't simply return the errant deposit though (unless they can't send it back to where it came from). If certain countries are excluded, it should be in the terms, and not buried. Often, the problem is that the registration page includes the forbidden country, and the software allows it to be selected, and even then, the software fails to notice it is a forbidden country, and at this point there is no excuse for this, as the player has already entered it.
Casinos, after creating an account, thrust the player straight into "deposit right now" mode, often by opening the cashier page, or an advert for the current offerings on a first deposit.
It is hard for players to work out if their country is banned, as each casino seems to interpret the situation differently, and even changes from month to month.
Since this casino is accredited, it would be helpful to name and shame if both the rep and their CS continue to ignore, or be unhelpful, in returning the deposit. It would also help the rest of us decide whether the casino has given fair notice in the terms or not, as certain standards are required of accredited casinos, one of which is to adhere to their terms and conditions AS DISPLAYED when a player registers.
