I haven't been following the whole thing carefully enough, but seriously, if someone took my writing and posted it all over the place without so much as mentioning my name, I'd be pretty annoyed.

So yeah, Infopowa used bb28's thread to make money for themselves. They can cut bb28 in, and give credit where it's due.

Let's not forget the fact that if someone were to submit any article for a school/college project with only several words changed from the original story, they would be thrown out for plagiarism as well.

Sure, if you post anything on a forum, it does become public 'information' only, not permission for any Tom, Dick, and Harry to use.

And if this site has a clause saying your original works/writings can be reprinted, by anyone, without the original authors permission, then I definitely would not post any of my own writing here.

Well, the posts are Meisters property, as it is his forum and he has a partnership with Infopowa, but the point was that BB was offended simply because she wasnt consulted. She is not a webmaster & the editing was sparce enough to be considered a direct copy. I think she felt a bit hurt at someone repackaging her article and using it as their own. I can understand her point of view although technically her posts are not her property once she types into an owned forum. I think it is more of an ettiqette issue than a copywrite one, assuming meister & infopowa have a close working relationship.
