Ok, I am going to try my very best to be objective here because I really have no beef with TIV and think John is a real nice person.

Is it just me or what? I go on the Winner Screenshots section day after day and see all of these Scary Rich wins. If John just looks at the surface, it will look like I just deposited 3 times at $25 but in reality, I have deposited at most or all of the Rival Casinos, not just TIV. This is why I am wondering.

Everyone raves about Rival and I want in on the fun. Have you ever tried to like something so bad but cant? I want to be part of this rival thing going but it's impossible when I make all of these deposits and not only NEVER get bonus rounds or even 2 frankensteins on scary rich but never had a w/d at ANY of these Rival Casinos.

Its a shame and on top of it, as most of you know , I only deposit $20 at most at a casino in the morning so Im even going the extra mile to accept the $25 minimum deposit and that's huge for me lol!

The ONLY thing I seem to get anything on is the 3 reel bars and sevens slot, the one with the diamond. Thats all good but I want to play the reel of fortune and the dog pound and cleopatra and scary rich and I get NADA.

Is it just me? Am I depositing on bad days? How are you guys getting bonus after bonus on Scary Rich when I cant get one, and Im a low roller, so one would think I would get even more because my bets are so low!

Please tell me Im not alone. John..dont take this personal, I like how you answered my PM's in the past so quickly and you were very nice but something's gotta give here! Im getting jealous

Scary Rich is feast or famine. I have had some awesome hits on it and cashed out. However, it is not a game for the faint of heart. I used to deposit large amounts and play the max ($2). After taking lots of beatings, I deposit small amounts and play small ($.20-$.60) and I don't use the bonuses much either because if I do manage to get a hit, I want to be able to cash out because I will lose it all if I keep playing.

When the Rivals first came to be, they paid great. Now, not so much if at all. It is so sad that a very good group of casinos have gone the way of all the others. This is not sour grapes or a bad loser. I like the Rival casinos but I would like a kiss before I get sc**wed.

Babs.....this is just my opinion about Rival and you know that I'm pretty much a low roller myself so I do understand where you are coming from. I played Scary several times and wondered what the big deal was, then I hit.....and good. Now more times than not when I play scary, I think geez that was just a big waste of time and money. I think people are correct in saying that it's very high variance and it takes a pretty good bank roll to play......unless you just happen to get very lucky. My other favorite and the one that I have more consistent but much smaller wins on is Love & Money.
I've also had a few wins on Cleo and once ended up with about 140 free spins but taking into account the number of free spins, didn't win squat. LOL
My favorite slots used to be RTG but lately I've been playing mostly Rival's but they have been cold for me lately. I had uninstalled all but two of the MG's quite a while back and hardly ever deposited at the two I had left and just recently uninstalled the other two. For the money I was putting in MG, I felt they had the lowest return of any. MG never offered me squat in loyalties, I think the only players they appreciate are their high rollers. One thing that keeps me going back to the Rival's is the loyalty bonuses.....it's really nice to get a freebie thrown at you a couple times a week, although all of them don't follow the same policy about that. One more thing.......I've uninstalled 2 of the Rivals I had on my puter......strange to me how they seemed so different, in more ways than one.
I've played at 3 Dice a few times but to me....it's much like Scary, high variance and my bankroll hasn't ever lasted long, so I seldom deposit there. With my recent problem with __ (see my thread in America The Beautiful), I'm about ready to give it up. I'm gonna give Netspend a try and if that doesn't work out, I think it's time to hang it up.

I closed my rival accounts a while back due to the awful problems with the software being so buggy-just got plain frustrated. But I LOVED the games!

I read about the upgrades and went back to TIV. Played my usual deposit, always with small bets (notorious low roller) and the features were very few and far between...even on the Circus game, which by far was the highest feature hitting slot they offered. I even noticed that now when you do get a feature, the scatters dont pay...unless you hit them during the free roll...Although the new software is fast & smooth, it certainly is alot stingier (sp)

I've lost every single time I deposited at TIV. Never even got ahead.

Just an FYI if you keep seperate accounts for gambling.. on my last few deposits at TIV the processer added an extra quarter to the deposit. Glad I keep an eye on the gambling account otherwise it would have gone to the negative for an extra $30 fee.

i can totally understand the frustration of seeing great screenshots and not being able to hit one to join in on the fun. In my case, i have deposited quite a bit and luckily, my cashouts have surpassed my deposits and i have been up for a while. This is definitely due to scary rich which is my favorite game but i don't expect to be winning forever because it is an extremely high variance game.

To put things in perspective, i usually bet .60 and start with $200 or $300. that may seem like a big balance just to bet .60, but i've learned i get quite a bit of entertainment even if i don't hit the three wilds. it only takes one spin in any one bonus to create that "wow" moment, but they do happen a lot as seen in the winner screenshots. you need to guarantee yourself a lot of spins and that means betting low if you start with a small balance.

One piece of advice i can give is to play scary rich with a nice bonus. if you don't hit, at least you get a lot more play time. if you do hit, change to the art heist or another low variance game to meet the wr and then cashout.

the only rival i play at is thisisvegas for many reasons (though i'm sure some of the other ones are good)...their manager, John, being the primary reason.

All i can say is that it is a huge thrill to hit the right bonus on scary rich and i hope everyone here gets a chance to hit one! (i also hope i keep hitting them too, lol.)

ps babs, if you're still planning a party after a big win, i really believe scary rich is the game to do it on... even on small bets (look at the reels and the possibilities will blow your mind.)

I find that it is feast or famine as well. But the feast!...The feast is sooooo good! At least for me.

I find John to be very generous and very accessible(sp?). That is a big reason why I play there.
