    Slots payouts changed

    Hi,

I'd like to know your opinion. Or feeling. Or experience...

When I play Slots, I made the experience, that new Slot machines often pay out a lot better then after some month of existing.

I know this experience can be total coincidence. But I had this now at at leat 5 Slot machines at MG and Playtech.

With "Alien Hunter" from Playtech, it was the most stunning difference.
In the first months, the game won nearly 75% of the games. And it rained bonus rounds a.s.o. I made more than thousand bucks in 2 month here.(absolute gain incl lost sessions, at least 20 sessions, 50% of sessions with a win, no big play)

    What is your opinion ?

It is your imagination if you are talking about Playtech and MG slots. The payouts are fixed for MG and Playtech and can not be changed by the casino operator. This is a well known fact.

Also we have recorded the reels of many MG slots and then do not seem to have changed ever since release.

It is just the variance of the slot and you have been lucky with the new slots, or you liked them better and imaging you was luckier. For RTG casino slot you claim can be true since managers can configure individual slots. (Same is true for Rival slots, but here you can
see the current payout of the slot)

It would probably only appear to initially be looser for the simple reason that there would be more players playing them at any given time upon initial release which could cycle the win ratios more frequently...

When I did my slots reviews there was always someone who had had a really lousy first session, and strongly disagreed with my review I had given the slot a good review.

Anyway it is just your superstition if you are talking MG slots, I know that for sure.

Well here's some fun facts of the slotty sort...

First of all, in regards to another post i started about who would actually say what their pay out % is... Club world told me their machines are currently 95%.

And the last time i played, i noticed that the faster the numbers on the Random jackpot were going up... the tighter the machine got. Soon as it started going slow again, it did better. Just an observation from my last play. I'm still taking a break, and trying not to be tempted by the coupon i was offered recently >_>.

I agree SnowKatt, I have ALWAYS observed the exact same senario on RTG Random Jackpots no matter what time, day or night I was playing...

Yeah, so i guess that's one thing people can watch out for. Glad it wasn't just a coincidence. Play when the R/J numbers are moving at a snail's pace.

Yes, I read that payouts should be fixed at MG and Playtech.

But doesn't this just mean that the operater cannot change it ?

Who knows, if it isn't MGs or Playtechs marketing strategy to promote mew machines.

All know how a real good seesion with big winnings "burns itself into the brain of a gambler". You want to have that again, AGAIN !! You know it is possible...

However, I respect a statistical measurement more then my own feeling (for the matter of gambling !).

But I don't know your recordings, nor how valid they are. Can I see them somewhere ?

    THX

    Exactly!

There are three camps between the gamblers. Those who believe they do manipulate, cheat, distort or whatever you would like to call it. Those who believe they don't, true randomness, and those who agree there are some strange patterns to be seen where they shouldn't be seen - however they cling to statistical anomalies as an explernation.

If you look at my posts you will quite easily find which camp I av advocating for. I feel this is almost like discussing 9/11 - believing the government did it is makes the reality so harsh and bad you simply cannot except this as a reason. Likewise with manipulating the RNG - since our gut feeling tells us there is someting going on - excepting it is renders yourselv an idiot for still playing... Nobody want's to be an idiot - so in short - believing they are cheating is not an option. After all - I'm no fool! Lol! We all are!

Anyways, I tend to agree with you that new slots (also in real casinoes) tend to have better payout in the beginning. This is only logical since you want to build a userbase for the slot, then you get it back later.
