Taking a break too!

Hey everybody. Gonna take a break for a while so i wanted to wish everyone the best. Been playing a lot recently and took some brutal beats at the Rivals that helped opened my eyes to other interests. I have such little discipline for reversals, especially with 3 week cashouts (my e-wallet request never came, odd)... and their refusal to flush my withdrawals broke this hippo's back, lol. So for me, it's either lots of play time at one casino, but can't get my money, or no play time at another casino and instant withdrawals, lol.

I'll be dropping by here once in a while and will probably join some of you guys at 3dice later on. Good luck all!! Let's see if i can discipline myself as well as Kimms! :thumbsup:
 
Good luck hippo! Get outside and remember the good things in life aren't found on a computer screen. I'm a sucker for reversing too! Which makes me glad my 2k I won today was flushed already due to a lobby update at club world! Ha!

Thanks everyone for the kind words. For a while i had more time to play, but now my daugther is 2.5 (less naps, lol) and the questions that come out of her mouth are priceless. Everyday i'm seeing i have less time for gaming as she is bursting into her childhood and obviously, i'd much rather see that than sit in front of my computer. :D And don't worry, i'll be around because i love being a part of this community and the wonderful people in it!:thumbsup:

I did say before we did but it's only for VIP players. When I did say that before I got in trouble and CSRs got a lot more requests. A few reasons why we don't do it for everyone is higher payment processing fees and the standard reason is for players that do make reversals often enough. We might change this within a year, we hiring more CSR staff and I would really like to see these payment processor fees drop. I have done this for a few players but I am not at the computer 24 hours a day yet. On a side note I have been upgrading more accounts to VIP status and I am a little more generous on the criteria. I don't have that set in stone but I am always looking at player accounts all the time.

I can attest to John's statement on the upgrading of accounts. Mine was upgraded and I received more bonuses. A couple of days ago, after making 2 deposits and losing them all, they sent me a promotion stating that there will be 25% bonuses on deposits thereafter. I replied saying "Boo, couldnt this have come a couple of hours earlier'. Now, Bang they replied that they were giving me the bonus retrospectively. It's only a few bucks but it's the thought that counts. Most other casinos would have ignored my e-mail or simply told me that I will have the bonus on my next deposit (stating the obvious).

My experiences at all the Rivals were generally very good. Excellent play time and enjoyment, just the whole withdrawal / flushing issue and the invite to an e-wallet that never came. I was actually able to reverse some withdrawals 10 days after cashing out... that would certainly extend an ach payment quite a bit. However, my need to take a break would have occurred no matter where i was playing. On retrospect, i really should have stuck with Thisisvegas and 3dice because of John's and Enzo's contributions here. I think there is a comfort level in knowing the big guys are here in the trenches. :thumbsup:

Apparently, me wanting to get off the computer was not as important as my daughter wanting to get on it to watch this over and over.... for 20 minutes! I cannot get this song out of my head now, lol. You guys will curse me for getting it stuck in your head too, lol!:p

If you are taking a break to get away from casinos and do a few more things in life then I would rather have your account closed. This thread gave me an idea that I sent to Rival which is every so often the software could suggest the player take a break, similar to Nintendo wii showing an image of the wii controller on the table with the window open to take a break.

Thanks a bunch for your PM John. I will certainly be taking a break for a little while (i expect my friends here to keep me honest and slot free for at least a couple of months :thumbsup:) until i can wean myself to become a more recreational player like i used to be. I will only have accounts at Thisisvegas and 3dice for obvious reasons. And like i said in my pm, John, i think we all appreciate your continued support of our community. I didn't realize fees are higher when processing flushed withdrawals. Or did you mean if you allow flushing less people will actually go through with their withdrawals (reversing it), thus saving you the processing fees? Just curious.

In general, it's easy to answer this...

If they do not flush your withdrawal, it will stay there for a day or 2 then only gets to them for processing. At the day or 2 you can reverse it, which most people do.

The reason why he says it's fees is higher is because if he flushed it and they process it immediately, they will have a cost there and at the mean time, a lot of people actually do redeposit some money again which is another cost to them. Thus the reason why he said the fees are higher. That's the general idea of the entire concept.
 
ok, so i only lasted a week, lol. But i got so bored surfing you tube and john from TIV was nice enough to upgrade me to vip so i could flush my withdrawals from now on. even a week was a nice break though... short breaks always helps to put things in perspective. i only have accounts at three places now: TIV, 3dice, and inet. dont worry though, my play is much better controlled now since i have less time to play. It is weird though, smaller deposits seem much more satisfying. :what: Besides, i can't let everyone else have my scaryrich screenshots, lol. :D

note: contacted cs to flush my withdrawal. email arrived in about 2 minutes confirming the flush. Amazing how easily John addressed this frustrating point.

wow wish i can get them to flush for me after losin 800usd on scary rich finally got to recop 250 back and they wont flush it for me..sorry but other places namely 3dice when i cash out its in my qt acct at the latest in 12-24hrs.that will win my busines everytime
