Centrebet had something similar happen here, a person placed $700AUD on a 2 leg multi bet, winner of the rubgy league into the winner of the AFL ( Australian Football League- Aussie Rules) , he ended up winning over $750,000 from the bet

I read this story earlier. Unfreaking believable. It sounded like the guy didnt realize he had won and was still making 50p bets. Good for him.

One of the more entertaining bets I used to do is a "Yankee" which for 50p or so can also yield big payouts. Not quite in the same league as an 8-horse accumulator admittedly, but will yield something if you pick at least 1 winner. It's effectivly 11 bets over 4 races. Or you can go each way too.
