Went to the local B&M this evening and had a repeat of my last visit. This time was slightly different. I was playing Triple Bonus VP and hit 4 aces twice in 45 minutes on a different machine. The main thing that differs between b&m and online VP is if you are having a bad run, which could last weeks and months online you are playing on the same server in the case of Microgaming so you are s$it out of luck but in a b&m you just walk over to another machine and things will usually change. In Vegas you could just walk to another casino. I called it a night with VP after I was $15,000 up and went over to the Megabucks which is now well over $8,000,000.00. I played my favorite 5 times pay feature and after approx. 25 minutes I got a Megabucks on the first reel and then the second and held my breath and low and behold I got a red 7 on the third. I yelled out " damn " until I realized a few seconds later I just hit another $4500 like my previous visit. I can't stop thinking how foolish I must have looked when I sighed for not getting the third Megabucks. Anyway, all this excitement makes me realize how much I missed the land casinos. I don't care if you DID get $4,500, two Megabucks and not getting the third is still cause for a sucks reaction.

Lol, uh... if i saw a megabucks, than another megabucks, than something that was not a megabucks, i don't think i would have yelled something so subdued, lol.

Then again, imagine getting the three megabucks not betting max coins...ugghhhh.

Playing Megabucks or ANY other progressive and not playing max coin...well that is just a LOSER! I've seen them do it in Vegas on Wheel of Fortune. Stupid Stupid waste of $$.

I use to live in Las vegas - There was a case when a man was playing Mega Bucks all day, had to go to the bathroom told his wife to play while he was gone. When he came back noticed the lights on his machine were blinking his wife got the 3 Mega Bucks but only had 1 coin in ( I think she won 5000.00) Rumor has it she went to the hospital and he went to jail.

Classymom did you experienced the same power blackout yesterday? I did for 3/4 hours here in Miami......it was a mess!!

I was speaking to a floor person a few days ago and he said he saw a lady hit the three megabucks with only 2 coins in in September last year. She won $10,000 and was furious. Nothing worse than players remorse. Cheers

We never were out - but where I work in Palm City they made us use our generators for a while. I hear there was alot of problems during this blackout.
