Is anyone still playing there? I hit Ausvegas a couple times over the weekend (lost and lost) and tried Lasseter's too - but the wait between loading games @ Lasseter's was e-x-c-r-u-c-i-a-t-i-n-g-l-y slow and I have cable. Holy crap, I ended up jacking up my bet and blowing it just so I wouldn't have to wait for another game to load. Is it just me or are those new games WAY too big to be loading through a browser?

Havent played Lasseters for ages but Ausvegas is a flash casino and the games are loaded instantly with no probs. Maybe you can send a PM to Julia and see if she can help you out.

I didn't have any probs waiting for the games at Ausvegas - but the ones from Lasseter's seem to take forever to load. Maybe I was playing at the wrong time of day. (Obviously I was since I couldn't win diddly!)

Lasseters has been brutal lately to load, the game play is fine when you start, abeit a bit boring. How about those Oilers.:D

The new games DO take ages to load. This is down to their sheer size, some 4 to 5 Megabytes, and needing to be freshly loaded in full each session. their server cannot deliver the uploads fast enough for all their players to be downloading so much content each time they change games.
This is the MAIN factor that causes me to play sparingly at Lasseters.

In past incarnations, it was possible to set these casinos to generate a local cache of much of the game graphics files, and this made loading far quicker, with less being requested from the server to load each game.
I have noticed that the game files DO get stored in the explorer cache, and this helps if you flip back to a game in the current session, but logging off deletes this cache, and results in the games having to load in full at the next login.
It MAY be possible to tweak IE locally to keep the Lasseters files locally cached, and this might help.
Do I know how - no, at least not yet;)
