Post Someone won Jackpot Pinatas in Dec.

I found this on the gonegambling website.

BIG Winner - Club World Casino (it was posted there on 12/7)
What would you do with over a quarter million dollars in cash? Well, Cathy from Canada will have fun answering that question, after winning a whopping $273,984.94 at Club World Casino!

Last weekend, Cathy was playing the newest (and coolest!) progressive slot, "Jackpot Piñatas," when she hit the big one. No doubt she'll enjoy this holiday season!

I have played Jackpot Pinatas at another casino and am not that thrilled with it. I got the bonus twice and both times didn't win more than $75. Not a great return for a $5.00 spin. Of course, if you were lucky enough to win the jackpot then it would be worth it. But could cost alot of money to chase it.

Not to venture too far off the trail, but a question occurred to me as I thought about how this progressive has a different jackpot in play mode than real mode.

In the real series slots, the random jackpot is the same in fun as real mode, and the 'meter' increases with play money, bonus money, and real money. At least one casino (don't recall if it is clubworld or inetbet) resets the jackpot to where it was if someone wins in playmode. So what's my question? I forgot... something to do with why dilute the thing with bonus and play money at all, and why allow casinos to simply reset to $1000 after it is taken down in play mode or with a 10x cashout...
I just think the Jackpot Pinatas process is better and more fair overall... yeah that's it, a point, not a question... now where's my coffee the cogs are slipping

    Hi Lojo

Just to clear this up for you as I think you have mixed up what has occured in the past.

You cannot win or contribute in any way playing in fun mode to a Progressive Jackpot.

What we have done in the past is, if a player has won the progressive at a particular game and has done so using a non deposit free chip we have asked RTG to reinstate the progressive back to its pre win amount.

    Best regards to everyone

Thanks Emily. I'm sorry I wasn't more clear.

My understanding is that there is a different progressive amount displayed in fun mode and real mode on Jackpot Pinatas as the play mode is not in any way connected to the real progressive. I like this

In the other part, I was referring to the random jackpot on real series video slots when I stated that playing in fun mode increases the random jackpot amount.

Not all RTG casinos are of the integrity of yours and I have 'won' many random jackpots in fun mode at other casinos and the random jackpot was never reset, but climbed from $1000. Where did the money that was contributed to that random jackpot go?

I also believe there is an exploit available to the player in that configuration, but i won't mention it on open forum, nor would I ever employ it.

I'll alert a moderator to this post, so that he can in his discretion edit my post if there is 'too much information'.

    Regards.

I too deposited at Inetbet after seeing their website claim that several of teh real series games had enticing jackpots. So made a deposit, logged in, checked several of the games in question and ALL were on the 1000 mark barring a few pennies or so. What gives. Totaly misleading from what their website claims the jackpots to be.

Please can you PM me with details of misleading information?

If you are talking about this information:

    http://www.inetbet.com/thegames/progressivejackpots.asp

It clearly states as follows: (Figures correct 01/22/08)

Unfortunately we do not have live feeds for these slots and this date was the last time the page was updated.

If these are now not current, obviously in the interim some of the Jackpots have been hit. However none of the information is misleading it clearly states when the data was updated.

Forgive me for asking, but when are those numbers updated? When someone hits a JP?

IMO it's not really too useful to list the RJ's. Take for instance:

Mermaid Queen – Current Random Jackpot $7458
I'm sure it's been reset to $1,000 many times since 1/22.
