It is not too unlikely to go over 500 spins without a bonus, or hit 5 bonus rounds and win next to nothing.

Well after never getting more than 10 free spins before or X5 multiplier I got this, low rolling of course

Won 30 free spins then a retrigger almost straight away for another 20

Harvey's was always a hit-n-run game for me just as Isis is. If you can get a bonus round quickly, then you can make some cash.. but to sit-n-spin for a long time can be the death of your credits. High variance! Either you accept the terms or stay away from those slots!
