    Spam!!- Am I unsubscribing?

    Hi Gang,

I'am getting the usuall spam email's as everyone else is.
Around xmas time it started to settle down a bit and only getting 2 or 3 emails from the rogues, I went to unsubscribe on 2 of them and ticked "please unsubscribe", The other email from another casino wanted my email address to unsubscribe ( not dumb didnt do this at all), however the 2 I ticked to be unsubscribed the next day I got over 10 emails from different casino's, emails's stating my computer is infected to meeting single people online.
I reckon as soon as I unsubscribed from these 2 email's It has triggered something putting me active again in the SPAM world and as a result I'am now getting a shitload of SPAM email's I dont want.

Has anyone else thought the same thing is going on here or what???

Never unsubscribe from dodgy looking spam - you'll just be confirming that your email address is live.

Unfortunately, the only way to effectively combat this is using the delete button. If the spam is coming from normally legit casinos (like the ones listed at Casinomeister or their brethren), it's usually coming form an affiliate. Report the spam to the aff manager requesting that the aff account to be closed and post the spam here.

Too bad spam sucks up so much of our precious time.

    There is some guidance here:

Complete waste of time. We have been reporting Spin Palace spam for months and it has got worse, not better. Today I have received FOUR, all from the same affiliate by the looks of it, and this constituted some 5% of the TOTAL of Emails received, including all the other spam put together.
