Vista and problems expanding Mg software to fill screen

Anybody familiar yet with vista? i swore i would never upgrade for a long time but alas my mother has just bought herself a newlaptop with the cursed OS preinstalled. So far i seemto have most things running ok with one major exception, and its bugging the life out of me.

When I run a Mg casino and try to maximise the setting to take advantage of full size screen play, all it does is move the same size window to the middle of the screen and create huge black borders around the casino software, but the actual casino size remains the same. Im probably missing a setting within Vista somewhere but for the life of me i cannot find it. Anybody had this similar problem? and how did you go about fixing it? Advice would be much appreciated

Hi i think i had this problem when i got vista it was awhile back now so cant realy remember how i got my head round it but i know this may sound silly but i think i done it by the monitor.

If i totaly remember i will post 4 sure. Do remember the head ache tho o my still hurts.

no problems with vista here either. did you try expanding using the corner thingys?

Sometimes MG will for no logical reason resets my screen resolution from max. to minimum. May be worth a shot to go to Display in your Control Panels and the Settings tab where you can confirm your screen resolution has not been reset and is at maximum pixels. Prolly not the problem as when this occurs it usually resets the whole desktop pixels to minimum (leaving a border around my desktop also in addition to the border you refer to) when I close a MG casino but worth a check!

thanks guys for your input so far, hope youve all had a great christmas and are looking forward to an even better New Year As far as the screen problem I stil have, alas the problem is still apparent and very much annoying lol Screen res settings are at max imput, bearing in mind im using a widescreen laptop so pixel res doesnt actually go that high. I think the prob could be the widescreen itself. Are MG casinos designed to be run on a widescreen laptop? lol Every other program, game or app ive tried expands to fit the screen, including RTG casinos, just not MG lol

I have a widescreen 32" LCD that I use, and can play MG fullscreen without any problem....

Have you tried updating your video drivers? Worth a shot...
