Question Ho Ho Ho P4F at Laddies not paying all winning lines.

Was playing at Laddies - 45p per spin - when I noticed that some of the winning lines were not paying. This also happened once with 2 gift boxes.

At first I thought perhaps they just weren't making sweet music. But no, they were definitely not paying out.

Is this indicative of a more serious, underlying problem? Not sure I understand how this could happenstance, unless a certain set of circumstances triggers a rogue bit of code.

Can you elaborate a little bit, or do you have a screenshot? What paylines were not winning, and are you sure you had all 15 selected?

See if you can get a screenshot (ALT+PrtScn) of it when it doesn't pay when it should. I played this earlier (not at Laddies) this week and din't notice anything amiss. I noticed something odd this week is winning (well, coming 2nd in) a slot tournament at All Jackpots - should have given me $3 and only gave me $2.48. I doubt the issues are linked though.

I was definitely playing all 15 lines, and the payline causing the problems was Line 12

I first noticed it when I had 3 milk and cookies in the first 3 positions of line 12. I remember looking at the screen and thinking, 'that should have paid', and then almost simultaneously....perhaps not. At this point I didn't check the payout table as it was only P4F after all, and I wasn't entirely sure what I had seen.

Then a few spins later, I realised that 2 gift boxes also hadn't paid out, but I was too quick with the spin button. However, in answer to SlotsWizard's question relating to the number of lines selected, scatters are not line dependant, so they should have paid out irrespective of the number of lines being played.

From there on in I proceeded to watch the screenplay like a hawk.

And a few spins later, along came another non-paying 3 milk and cookies combination on line 12. This time I checked the payout table. There was something definitely wrong here, so I decided to take a screenshot.

And literally just as I was clicking on PrtSC, along comes IE with a now familiar message...'IE has encountered an error and is now shutting down....''

So no screenshot. I guess without that there is nothing else to do but to forget all about it until it happens again. However I do find it very worrying. I noticed the problem with line 12 and with the gift box payout, but there may have been more non-paying valid combinations that I missed.

If I had been using autospin I never would have seen it, and and that really is disturbing. All these problems spinning automatically by unnoticed.

Yeah, yeah, rub it in, you lucky [Br|sh]it!

Loganberry - Ho Ho Ho is a 'gamble' game. Is it possible that it's not updating your balance until you click the Collect button?

For example, if you get 2 boxes that pays 1x your bet. So if that win is "pending" (waiting to be gambled or collected), and you click Spin (which implicitly collects it and then subtracts that same amount to pay for the next spin), it will look like your balance stayed the same. If getting 3 milk & cookies pays 15x the line bet, it would have the same effect as getting 2 scatter boxes, if my hunch is correct.

And you can always use playcheck to see if you are paid correctly.

Chuchu59, unfortunately logs are not kept for P4F.

I thought of that, SlotsWizard, but no...that was not the case. What alerted me to the fact that something was wrong in the first place was that there was no music indicating a win in the first two instances, and then no 'Ho Ho Ho' from Mr Claus (the last bet was 1 Mr Claus and 2 milk and cookies), so I pressed collect just in case. It did not update.

However, no screen shot = no proof, so I will have to let it go. In future though I am going to keep a very very close eye on this game, particularly when I go back to playing it for real.

I remember when I first started doing the Fixed Odds (WillHill or Ladbrokes), I dutifully had to calculate the 7% tax (or whatever it was) against my bet size, otherwise when I won (and it was usually was 'when' back then) I would have had to pay it on my winnings.

However as there was no tax on online gaming, the government recognised that tax also had to be removed from High Street betting to make it competitive with online gaming.

Ironic, eh, in the light of the US situation.
