the new Medieval Moolah game at 3dice

got to play the new game for real last night. the new game has wonderful graphics, unique game play, and is generally a kick to play because of the reel possiblilities with the wilds that can give you up to 24x. obviously, the designers put ALOT of work into this one. it's the quality you would expect from 3dice, but..............

    You're gonna need some patience!!!

the game is a 30-liner with wild suns that can multply your line win by up to 24x. the bonus has you shooting tiles on the ground with a catapult doubling your bonus everytime you hit. each level gets more difficult and top prize is about 200x bet with 3 keys. 4 or 5 keys allow you to reach the higher levels that pay really well.

i got to the point where i actually didn't want the bonus to hit because the line wins were paying better. i did get the bonus a fair number of times(probably about 10) betting .60, but i got 7.20 for most of my bonuses, 14.00twice, and 28.00 once.

i'm thinking this game is a lot like supersuits and tut, where you don't fully appreciate the game until you get that unbelievable hit or bonus, and THEN you wanna keep playing it because of the possibilities. screen shots from people playing in the tournament show some incredible possibilites.

i'll give it another go later today (was fun waiting for those wild suns to land) ...but enzo and 3dice....keep the new slots coming

    My 3dice slot list:

    1. Squirrel pike (just really fun to play)
    2. King tut
    3. Superuits
    4. Medieval Moolah (for now )
    5. Happy Valley (or as i like to call it from my experience, Death Valley )

The graphics are stunning, as we've come to expect from 3Dice

The game is hilariously fun and entertaining when the the 'extra' screen actions happen (full 3D knights riding pigs chasing winged skulls, etc.)

Catapulting pigs and dragons is a blast... (remember Python's sheep catapult?) But I dread the bonus too sometimes as a good line win beats it more often than not in my experience.

When aiming at the gold with catapult the target scitters around in a 3x3 grid and I haven't fully determind how much is skill and how much dumb luck, but have made it to the second highest level for more than 300x bonus round.

    Line wins can be staggering.

I'm working on saving up enough tourney wins to play it for real mixed with same amount of other cash... probably want a bankroll at least 200x average bet size... as max bet is $6 i won't be betting max unless I get some smashing wins in the meantime.

My only suggestion for this game would be to have an option when feature appears to 'buy a pig in the poke' and get a random reward because I do get a bit frustrated with the bonus round when I'm on a line-win roll and entertaining as it is, I don't like to 'break my stride' for 3x, 6x, 12x, or even 24x wager returns.

    In toto? Freakin awesome!!!

    Niiiiiiiice!

I am impressed also. Lot of work going into that bonus round. Also I have been waiting for years for a 5-reel slots to implement the "Double Diamond" multi-wild line multiplier, it was so obvious to do this

This makes the spins between the features a lot more interesting compared to the tedious waiting for a feature. The paytable does not look high, but a 5-symbol win with a paytable of 125 line-bet with 2 wild substitutions give *8=1000 instead, so it is a pretty high paytable actually.

The intro is also brilliant. Besides introducing the theme it combines it with actually ending up right in front of the slot.

Also the bonus feature is somehow different from other slots. I can still not say how much skill element is involved, but some skill is involved. Etc. if a square is free you can take it
safely now while the aiming is still good or instead try a little riskier one, hoping this square will still be safe when the bonus is higher. It think it only notice what square you pick and not where inside that square.

Anyone know if you have unlimited ammo btw.?

The only negative I can say about the about the slot is the symbol graphics. It is a little primitive to my taste, I prefer something a little more lively and invigorating. Also the sound when spinning is the same used for all other slots. It is almost the same as the RTG spinning sound. Very boring. Why should it sound like a 70-style mechanic old school slot? I prefer the more
atmospheric spinning sounds that some MG slot have.

It would have been better with a nice medieval Midi tune

Think that colored my review a little? Nah It did color my perception of bonus round vs line wins though! 1200x + compared to much less in boni

I haven't run out of ammo yet Zoozie, so can't say for sure. Your suggestion works pretty well, except, as you say, when the stop symbols totally surround the target then I think it's intuitive or blind luck, not sure.

In the bonus round, you keep shooting until you hit a square that has a skull on it. In theory, if you keep hitting a blank square, you do have unlimited ammo.

As for whether or not it's skill or luck... I think it's predetermined. I've noticed several times when I click the button, it ends up landing on almost a full square away from where it was when I clicked it. I know it jumps around but, hey, I'm just saying.

The game itself is lower variance than, say, SuperSuits. And the incrementally-calculated wilds (4x, 8x, 12x, 24x) totally kicks arse.

I got four wilds on the backend (reels 2 thru 5) in the intro tourney earlier today (16 minutes before it ended ) for a T$988 win from a T$6 bet. Those wilds can be pretty powerful...

    congratulations lojo !!!

my second session today on real money is going a bit better. it is a fun game. i did get the max on the bonus (3 scatter) once already today. the wilds are what make this game fun, though.

it's almost like a secondary bonus sort of thing when you can get a few wilds on a line.

and i'm inclined to believe that the bonus is predetermined because i refuse to believe i am THAT bad at aiming, lol.

anyway, gl everyone and have a great week until thanksgiving !!

    Thumbs up!

I really love this new slot Enzo (and his team) put together. Played it for the first time today, and went all the way in the bonus round for a $570 something win of a $3 bet.

The element of suprise is great with those multiplying wilds! This slot combined with Tut and Supersuits makes for a great casino. And kudos to Enzo for being maybe the best casino manager out there!
