    2 hours playing - 26.1% payback average

I just had the worst "loosing streak" ever, playing Aztek Treasure for approx 2 hours on a new Casino, must have been playing several thousands of spins.

After the session I went to chat with their live help, telling me that the average payout on Aztec was 97.5% and that my session had yielded a measly 26.1%. Anyone care to tell me how unlikely that is?

This might be my last online gambling experience, a costly lesson..

I don't want to say that it was rigged, but it certainly felt so. I have lost similar figures before, but not that quick!

Not saying you did not have a bad streak but you did not do thousands of spins in 2 hours , Might have felt like it but in 2 hours your lucky to do 1000-1500 spins

That sucks, I've had bad runs on that slot as well as good ones. I don't know how high the variance is on aztec... of course 'almost' features are going to reduce the number of spins... I try to move around if a slot doesn't seem to be paying.

Not to derail, just a quick shout out and thumbs up for inspins website... didn't see a rogue anywhere on it

Maybe an RTG Casino rep could confirm it, but its my understanding that the payout percentages INCLUDE the Random Jackpots (i.e. are'nt based just on the reel payoffs)

Hence, if you dont actually hit an RJ then you would almost certainly be getting less than the stated %

I'm happy to stand corrected if I'm off base here

Aztec Treasures is always very stingy with me. I don't play it much and I tend to low roll only.

    Hi slafs,

Sorry to hear of your poor run. I do not intend to be sceptical but do you mean that you have 26.1% of your balance remaining after 2 hours of play. If so, this may not necessarily translate to a 26.1% payout. Whatever it is though, this sux big time.

Nah, lost all my money getting 26.1 cent for each dollar spent. I guess it's why we love these slots - HIGH variance. Just sucks when it really gets into 'off' mode and you feel the urge to chase..

It seems impossible that it could have happened on the MG "Thunderstruck" slot. I made 10000 simulations each of 1000 spins. The lowest was 53% payout. And there is a long way down to 26.1% from here.

Playing for 2 hours is a least 1000 spins. And actually Aztec Treasures is 20-lines compared to "Thunderstruck" 9-lines, which should even further decrease the variance, making it even harder to get such a result.

That is assuming the casino slots play fair

RTG have always had this ability to set the payouts, and if they are really screwed down tight, such bad sessions are more likely.

At the moment, there seems to be a two week famine of bonus rounds at MG, and this has been consistent over several different casinos. The RNG seems to be trotting out a long sequence of poor results. MG seems prone to these prolonged bad spells, after which a flurry of great hits will arrive.

I'm lead to believe this is true too.
