Casinos that sell you out to spammers
I know that certain casinos have sold my details to spammers.
What I don't know is which ones, because I supply the same email address to each. Does anyone keep track? |

I wish I would have... it doesn't take much extra time to create a new yahoo email when signing up at a casino... I wish I would have.

It's not so much the actual casino that sells the player lists, IMHO. It's the employees, current and former, who harvest the info. They then sell the lists to dishonest super-affiliates, or peddle them at certain "professional" websites.
Also, let's not forget that there are gambling forums and associations that sell their members' info. And then lie through their teeth about it. Bitter? Moi?

Opening new casino accounts each with a different E-mail can lead to serious problems when it comes to getting paid (as if many casinos need yet ANOTHER excuse to delay payment). One rule is that your eWallet E-mail must be the same as your casino registered E-mail, which makes it a problem as you cannot have more than one account at the main eWallet sites such as Neteller. It would be possible to do this if all withdrawals were requested by cheque.
If any casinos is suspected of selling details though, it would be possible to register a "fun" account with a unique E-mail but not convert it to real, and then see if anyone other than that casino sends an E-mail back to you at the same address. If you then want to play for real, register a change to match your eWallet registered E-mail address if necessary.

I opened a Gmail account. I like it A LOT better than my old Yahoo and Hotmail accounts. It's by Google and way better software than the new Windows Live - and I was a tester in that beta program since day 1. I tried Gmail for three months before switching from Yahoo and Hotmail and importing my contacts and, for many reasons, it is beyond compare! I use Hotmail and Yahoo now only for sites I suspect will be giving me up for spammers. Anyone interested in checking it out please PM here me cuz I get some kinda brownie points if I send you a Gmail invite and you end up trying it out.

I have used a Hotmail email account from the beginning. My personal email address is never given out to anyone but friends. It has worked fairly well for me. Some friends unfortunately still don't know how to use the BCC option so I do get some junk once in a while.
