I decided to post this issue in more rooms to get more responses...

I have been reading this forum, etc and I see a trend where it looks like giving the casinos your money there are never any problems or delays in them taking your money. But why are there always issues with them giving you your winnings?

I see these casino reps on here and we have the casinomeister himself that runs this site. Why can't we get concrete answers on when we should get paid and it should be consistant and reliable. I am hearing that even QuickTender takes days.

Everything is run by computers and there really shouldn't be any human interactions.

So, lets here is from these casino reps. Why are there always issues on here with someone getting paid? It can't be one way. There should be problems with you taking our money as there is when we want our winnings, but I don't see that.

I've seen alot of threads over the years where people invited Casino Reps. to give their input on a given subject, but I don't think I've ever seen a casino rep respond. They try to avoid the "lion's den" at all cost if possible. If anybody does respond it'll be the ones who have instant or fast payouts anyway... and those aren't the ones anyone has problems with.

reps wouldn't have anything relevant to say anyway. why can one of two identical pieces of mail sent from paris sometimes make it to moscow before the other reaches berlin? without tracking each actual piece, you can't presume to know or find out from anyone what the reason for the delay is.

why might withdrawals take longer in some places or in some amounts than others? batch processing on certain days of the week, allocating requested funds to a safe account from which they are drawn out to the player, postal delays, speed and efficiency of other outsourced handlers and processors of the money in question, financial instability of the casino, too many people out sick or on vacation, lost in transmission somewhere, difficulties arising from similar names of persons or places, typos in any of the account numbers, statutory/bank holidays in any jurisdiction the money passes through, security measures at any step in the process, amount of other work in progress or queued up prior to the request in question...

too many factors to prescribe a definitive timeframe that is normal or expected imho, and no rep is going to be able to do much to help with the estimates. cheques inside standard envelopes don't really take 28 business days to reach any destination, but the casino offers that disclaimer because once it leaves their hands, who knows what could happen to it and they can't presume to accurately guess how long it will take, and give you a worst case scenario, after which you can start to worry. if a casino thinks or figures they can get withdrawals to you in 2 days, they are still going to say "up to a week" so that you don't freak out 48.1 hours later that it isn't arrived yet.

I am not defending the casinos and I do believe that there should be instant payments or at least quick payments. That is why I dislike the 4-day withdrawal period for most playtechs. Back on topic, though. If you ran a casino, you would want to contain costs and maximise your profits. In the commercial world, however reliable the company is, they still want to pay at the last moment because of the interest that will be generated from the amount of money involved. If you make a purchase thru a credit card, the retailer wont get the money immediately but you may have to pay interest from the day you made the purchase if you opt for partial credit card repayment. Then there are also charges for the use of e-wallets that are solely borne by the casinos. Again, I am not trying to defend them but we should not really expect them to recoprocate and send us the money at the same speed and (willingness) we offer. That said, I still find it unacceptable that players need several weeks to get their winnings. Sure, there are problems with paying US players but make this clear in the Cashier Section what options are available and how long they should expect to receive the money. Place it alongside the deposit button so that players will know what they are in for and they can then decide whether they should deposit or not.

I live in the US. I got my withdrawal check from Bodog in about three weeks. Their site says to expect 30 days. I made a withdrawal from AP and Vegas via epassporte. These were made nearly at the speed of light.

On the other hand I had to get a forum ower involved to get my money out of Optroom and a modearator to help get my withdrawal from TheNutz, a FutureBet sit. The "old" G2G just kept my money and won't answer my emails, another FutureBet site. Pit Bull poker gave me my withdrawal after first denying it but kept my winnings. USDbet, another FutureBet site, denied my withdrawal and didn't bother to tell me. PokerEon, another FutureBet site, won't even answer my emails nor give me my money.

Folks living in the US isn't the issue. The issue is if the sites are willing to play fair and honor your withdrawals. Many are. FutureBet sites and other "low life" sites aren't. Pit Bull is in the middle of the road. They gave me my deposits back but kept all my winnings.

A casino cuts a check on Friday in Govotnya Gobernya - I can't have it for 3 weeks because, why, the third world doesn't have Fed-Ex yet? Then take away their Coca-Cola til they get it, dammit! I know it doesn't require special instructions to get a letter airbourne when there are oceans between points A & B. I cashed in at a casino on the CM accredited casino list on Sept 22. They said that a courier check takes 7-10 working days and costs me $35. What is courier about that? For $35 I can get a letter delivered anywhere in the world, practically, by day after tomorrow! And a regular bank draft atakes 3 - 4 weeks? What are they doing, hand-delivering the envelope to the warf to make certain it does't travel by air?? Jeeziz!

Great! I gotta go through this to find out which accredited casinos are slow pays? And when I tried to find a solution to a quicker payout they never even mentioned my Quick Tender account.

Most credit/debit transactions are "instant"; the casino usually sends off the money before midnight that day (i should imagine); it just takes 3 days for it to reach your account while the card company slow things down for the whole "extra interest" reason.

And similarly, casinos are "generous" to let us play instantly, as all that happens is that the money is "approved" (well guaranteed, so they kno they gunna get it) but the casino won't get it for possibly a couple of months (? not sure how credit cards work as such, but i think things work on the "end of month" basis, and at the first end it's processed and the 2nd one you get it).

Slowing withdrawls helps sort frauders depositing, playing instantly, and making off instantly. I dont have a problem in the UK; most of mine show up within 4 days later cash in hand.

Of course, it is bad when they do the whole "reverse withdrawal" and delay thing!

How about: they get their money instantly. I had merchant accounts with Visa, MC, Am Ex and Discover and any credeit card sales I made on any given day were available in my bank account the next business day.

Well they say they want doc's (credit/debit card etc) because it is to prevent fraud.
What Bollocks.
If you want to prevent fraud get proof of ID before you accept the transaction (deposit), simple.
They don't give a damn where the money comes from when it is heading their way but when they have to pay they suddenly become very security conscious.
Take any Casino and you can make unlimited deposits using a credit/debit card over years no questions asked.Try to draw out $10 and they want your doc's,fingerprints and DNA sample.

Even worse i faxed the docs and they say they didn't get them even though I have the fax confirmation print out to their number.
Now I have to scan and send by email.

You can put all kinds of clothes in the washing machine, but until you take them out, they aren't laundered (if that makes any sense) so they don't need to give a damn as long as you're pouring money into them, just when you try to get it back. (explains docs, etc. maybe) but 'processing time' is another matter altogether... understandable on first withdrawals to confirm ID and slow daown 'hit and run' bonus action, but on subsequent withdrawals anything over 3-5 business days is either incompetence or chicanery; either way, a casino to avoid or at least to use another withdrawal method.

Once your ID, credit card and perhaps, a utility bill < a year old are scanned its easy to save them in a folder - I just name mine FaxBack_Docs. When I register with a new casino I email everything with a request for them to email me a copy of their credit card authorization form, if they so require, "for the purpose of expediting my withdrawal, in advance." I email all of this just prior to making my first deposit. The body of my email is even saved as a draft. At the end of my "Casino FaxBack Request/ID Docs Attached" - this title in the subject line of the email along with my new casino username or account number - I ask that the casino "please acknowledge that the attached documents meet the requirements of the casino's withdrawal policies or else request, via reply to this email, any further documentation the casino may require to satisfy same." I started doing this 2 years ago - the first time a casino said I had to re-fax some blurry docs they had me send. I immediately went to Best Buy (instead of back to Kinko's for re-faxing) and bought a $39 scanner and, at the time, many casinos hadn't considered scanned docs and I had to ask if I may send them as attachments to an email. Caught a few off guard and I would just interrupt their hemming and hawing by pointing out that I would only have to send them once and they could go paperless! Now my cash ins are only delayed for every other BS reason in the universe!

Seems like a good practice Berny, and I usually do the same thing - with at least one casino within a group. Also, if I used a bonus, I would open a dialogue. I've even had a casino ask me to sign in to a guest account and demonstrate my style of craps and roulette play before depositing so there wouldn't be any questions were I to take the house down. Not a hassle for me, well worth the peace of mind actually.

They can also have that money taken back with chargebacks. And they also have had to be really creative and persistant to find new ways to process U.S. player transactions. For U.S. Players, Credit cards stopped working at most casinos, but a handful. Then gift cards also stopped working. Because of our legislation that passed last year.. which can get the financial instituations in hot water.

Western Union got wise and also put their foot down, and still do if they're aware of transactions being online gaming from the u.s. anyway.

Credit card sales hit your bank after it's been batched out I suppose. Not every business does these instantly, or even daily. I know we would batch our daily credit card sales out nightly. So we'd have business income in the bank from cc's daily too. But we also weren't in the online casino business trying to send money back and forth to U.S. players.

The best thing to do is find the casinos that treat you right, pay you the quickest, and stick with them. iNetBet is one of the very best, along with Club World Casino, for fast payouts, consistant support and very reputable.

For U.S. Players, Credit cards stopped working at most casinos, but a handful.

A tip for US players:
I have NetSpend, pre-paid Visa debit cards. I have never had a deposit declined at any online casino with these cards, unless, of course I had depleted my funds - not even the temporary card I brought home with my purchase! They're available at most check cashing places and Albertson's Supermarkets. You can call 1-86Netspend for a local merchant. If you buy one that's is merchandised with the store's giftcards you'll see the re-load packs hanging on the diaplay right next to them. The packaging is simple, clean, red block printing on a white background. As the packages with the cards are usually next to the reload packs they can be easily seen and stand out, even on a whole wall of gift cards. I bother to explain all of this cuz grocery store employees are usually clueless if you ask them for either a card or re-load pack. It's much easier to find it yourself or just point them out to who-ever is at the customer service counter should the store have all their gift cards on a wall behind a counter. Then you just take it through any check-out whrere, after scanning the card or reload pack, the checker will be prompted to ask how much you want to load and the $9.95 fee for a new card or $4.95 fee for the reload pack is added automatically. The cap on reload packs is $500/24 hrs. If you buy one at a check cashing place they'll know all about them. A.C.E. (for Ace Cash Express) is the biggest chain (and a division of NetSpend) that sells them. If you reload the card at the check cashing place's counter, the fee is $2 with a maximum of $5,000 to $10,000 cap on the card. Transactions cost $1/per so I dont buy cigarettes with mine.

There are no monthly fees or $35-per-transaction bank overdraft charges. Since the cards are not linked to any bank account or credit card, there is never a risk of losing anything through identity theft.

When the permanent card arrives in the mail, its activation de-activates the temporary card and any balance automatically transfers. Simply "register another card" (or whatever) on the casino's cashier page. DON'T get the Western Union pre-paid MasterCard!!! They suck.

There is nothing "to do" in daily batching. It's a pre-determined setting - like cell phone settings - especially since 100% of the bus is online and there are no counter sales from walk-in traffic - like in a store.

I'm totally fine with a casino that flushes my withdrawal (no reverse withdrawal period upon request) and pays me within 3-5 working days. There's no valid reason to delay longer than that. If a casino is 'set up' to take longer or 'thats just the way it is for you yanks' then they won't get my deposits.

On the docs side of things, I don't think it's a bad idea as such, I mean presumeably they have to have some sort of regulation somewhere? The other day I reached some limit for unverified accounts with paddy power, and had to send in a couple of docs, and I asked them to email back when they were done. Within a couple of hours my account was all freed up and ready to go again. Nice!

I don't see a problem with that - it's just all the wasters and casinos that take days to "look" at documents that are really the problem here!

Yep. And you might be surprised how quick they are to confirm your doc-ducks being in a row when they're submitted after registering a credit card and before making that first deposit.
