Wow! RTG! Unbelievable!

Everyone that knows me here, knows that I back a certain RTG casino. When I have nice things to say... I don't mind naming them! But right now I am pretty upset.

I made a $250 deposit and requested a 75% coupon. They cheerfully gave me the coupon. That gives me $437.50 to play with. Well, I hit... and hit... and hit. I was well over $4000!

At one point the slot keeps turning and a box pops up saying it was unable to communicate with the server. After a while, I contact the support. They tell me that RTG is updating ALL casinos at that time and they would be back up within 15 minutes.

When the casino came back up... I lost with a CAPITAL "L". 3 bonus rounds in 3000 spins. Very little winning after that "update". Normal casinos payback 95% or so. Meaing, for every $100 I spent out of my withdrawable balance, $95 in winnings goes back in. Well... at this point... for every $100 I spent, if I was lucky I won $8. I feel robbed!

This sounds bad on circumstantial evidence alone. Try asking a different RTG if this really was an RTG wide update. If you find the casino lied about the cause of the loss of connection, it is likely they could have done something to you.

RTG can do lots of things, they can alter the payouts of their games, and increase the number of decks in card games. It is possible to do this in a manner that is bad for the player, but to do so they have to disconnect the sessions of all players to make the alterations active, just as you sometimes have to reboot your PC after changing some software and windows features.

To further your case, how many spins did it take to eat your $4000 after the disconnect? If you were still betting high, the experience can still be down to bad luck, but if you were betting low ($1 or $2) and had the entire $4000 steadily eaten at around 10% payout, things would look bad for the casino. 3000 spins without a bonus also seems a bit odd, RTG bonus rounds are not as good as MG, and even 700+ spins without a bonus round on an MG slot is highly unlikely (it happens so rarely, that it warrants a post when it does as players feel something is wrong).

you know the same shit happened to me from 8-9 tonight . made a 500 deposit and hit some nice slot hits , brought it up to almost 5k , then it started that update bullshit . and in less then 2 hours and about 1300 spins lost it all . Now i have another place ill never play again .

It is my own fault thou i should have cashed out but wanted to make it to 5k to even out for the past few weeks .

Hmmm. Seems to be quite serious. Can other players with similar experiences post here as well. BTW, Phyngster, if you are reading this, please shed some light on this abnormality.

We heard these kind of stories very often about RTG. It would be suprising if it was just a coincidence.

Was this at clubworld by any chance, because same thing happened to me at the same time. message pops up saying game is closing for maintenance, offline for 10-15 mins and then backup and i too noticed that after this update they wernt playing the same.

Not going to say... but you are very hot!! They have since given me managers bonuses totaling well over $200. Lost on all those too.. Time to take a break!

I joined Clubworld myself not so long ago actually and am enjoying my time their much more so than at any other RTG casino ive tried. Although far from comparable to an Mg casino where ive had big wins before from being a low roller I havent yet once seen any similar strokes of luck from an RTG, but i do enjoy the games and i play them mainly for fun and the hope of hitting one of those RJ which I think in all probability isnt likley to happen. At least not any time soon. I know the slots can pay nice wins on a low rolling coinage and ive had a couple of what can be classed as `nice` wins but nothing `nice nice` if that makes sense which i get fairly often on an Mg casino. i think in my opinion the only way of walking away truly up from an RTG being a low roller is if you hit one of the RJ`s.

Secondly I dont really see the point intaking out a club world deposit bonus either seeing as your totally limited to a max cashout of i think its 10 times isnt it? Just whats the point if you know that ultimately any REALLY nice win is going to be null and void anyway. thirdly, i didnt realise that RTG takes AWAY your initial deposit bonus if you come to withdraw. This is something totaly new to me being a primarily MG player, i was quite shocked lol i think clubworld has been the only RTG casino to actually allow me the chance to cash out anything at all anyway so its the first time ive noticed it.]

I strongly suggest that everyone quit playing RTG software. Except those that dont have milk money or their house just burnt down. Better to give your money away somewhere else than to flush it down the toilet with RTG.
THIS MANY RESPECTED POSTERS WOULD NOT BE COMPLAINING THIS MUCH FOR THIS LONG WITHOUT SOMETHING MAJOR CHANGING WITH RTG.

I'm confused......how come all of a sudden it's ok to say there's something fishy about online casinos?

Before any time a player would say something like this most people here would go ape sh*t, but now it has changed.

I believe what has been posted, I always have, but didn't say much on the subject because long time members would really get on people for saying such a thing.

Why has it all of a sudden changed?
