    DEPOSIT CONFUSION

Can anyone explain to me why debit card deposits work sometimes and sometimes don't??? The casinos answer is that the bank rejected particular deposits, which I find hard to believe. If the bank was actually rejecting my deposits, why would it work sometimes and not other times?? One would think that once the bank flagged a merchant as a gambling site that all deposits would be rejected, not just sometimes. I really wonder what the real F'ing deal is, any thoughts??

It's probably not your bank, it's their processor. My bank allows everything to go through; if something doesn't go through, I know it's the casino's processor and not my bank.

Is your debit card a MasterCard by any chance? Lots of casinos don't accept MasterCard any more (that's what I have) because of the recent anti-online-gambling rule that MasterCard set forth some months ago.

yeah, as if your bank is looking at the transaction the instant you do it and decide in a matter of seconds not to allow it. the casino just tells you that because there's nothing they can say as they have no idea either way, and they can't help you anyway even if they knew what the error was.

Why they even bother to come up with some sort of explernation is also kinda strange, as the obvious answer is as stated above. Back to the more plausable explernations, since I recall experiencing this myself.

Could be that the payment processors software has connection problems (read: timouts) with the bank API which ends up with a cannot compute error. The software probably have 1 error message, which is it couldn't work. That a transaction is declined and 1 minute after accepted just doesn't make sense, infact it sounds critical and very dangerous. I would bet a dollar it has to do with a timeout in the connection "chain" somewhere.

As a final topic, I remember being quite pissed at Casino Rewards. During a playing session I did alot of deposits, and one failed. Surely I tried more and they went through. The next morning, I got an email from support where they informed my how nice everything was - and that they wanted to tell me that they had helped me with the transaction that didn't go through last night. They had tried again, for my pleasure (sure I'm excaggerating), and now it had gone through. The funds were available in the casino for me to have fun with...

Now that practise, that is a bad one! Infact that really felt like stealing!
