Biggest losses in one evening?

lol, well my £22.5k was all in cold deposits unfortunately. I lost most in 3x5k hands at BJ at will hill. I'm not saying It's rigged, but i did get very unlucky when betting that big (like I got 21v6 and pushed).

On the plus side, it was basically all the profit that I had made in one year. And to be fair I was getting a bit cocky, so I think I had it coming. When I lost a bit I'd martingale sometimes, and had always won. On this occasion, I'd got a slots bonus, ended up about $10 up or so, but pressed on and decided to quit when i next hit the bonus round. It didn't happen, and as i pushed bets up, i lost about $2k. So i quit and decided to make it back in BJ. That didn't happen either.

So.... I lost everything that I made in just over a year's careful play. So it was all profit (well I was net -2k). And I think I learned a ""valuable"" lesson. Hmm!

It was obviously pretty rubbish, but it doesn't keep me awake at night or anything, partly cus I lost something that wasn't mine really, partly cus I think I had it coming to me anyway, and partly cus I didn't NEED that money really (tho would have been nice!). I learnt my lesson.....

And now I'm over +£4k in profit again :P

But Will Hill didn't make me a VIP or anything, and I only got a lousy £25 quid back in comps, and that was it

Hi, yesterday was my darkest evening ever and I don't know how I can emotionally recover from that. Last weekend I joined German Casino Club which had a generous bonus and single deck blackjack with a slight player advantage (+0.15%). I deposited only 25€ and got 100% bonus. I won very quickly on blackjack and roulette and had a balance of 700€. I decided to withdraw it all but was only able to withdraw 500€ because for higher amounts they will send verification code by regular mail which takes one week to arrive.

So I withdrew 500€ and had 200€ left on my balance to wait for the verification letter by mail. However, while waiting for that mail I decided to play with my remaining 200€ a little bit. I played single deck blackjack with small (1 - 5 €) bets and stopped as soon as I gained 25 € over my starting balance that session, that is 200 € -> 225 € -> 250 € ->. Then I did something else and returned to repeat the same process the following day. Using this method I slowly and patiently increased my balance from 200 € to 750 €. Every day I hoped for the mail to arrive to get the security code for withdrawal and had decided to withdraw the amount I have at that point.

This scheme worked fine until yesterday. I started with a balance of 675 € and got 3 blackjack hands in a row. Therefore I quickly hit the 750 € mark and this was the amount I had decided to stop on playing anyway.
But then I started thinking that I have grown my balance from 200 to 750 using only small (1-5 €) bets so why shouldn't I try something bigger and if I lose I will stop at 675 € balance where I started from the same day. So I started betting 25 € per hand but the odds really turned against me and I lost 5 first hands in a row plus a double bet. I couldn't believe my bad luck so I continued hitting with 25 € and losing rapidly. I wish I had come to my senses and stopped at any amount but I just felt I couldn't stop because I had had so much trouble building the bankroll slowly and I felt I don't have the patience to do it again so I kept betting 25 € until I lost it all. It took only about 100 hands to lose all of the 750 € I had built so the return percentage during these 25 € bets was

(100*25 - 750)/100*25 = 70 %

So the game which allowed me to build my bankroll slowly, suddenly gave only 70% return when I increased by bet size to 25 €. So either the game is rigged with bet size or I was just incredibly unlucky. I hate myself for playing such a disciplined game for so long and then losing all my self-control in a split second. It is true as someone said that gambling is 90% boring grinding and 10% pure horror.

I guess I should feel lucky since I still withdrew 500 € for my 25 € deposit but getting that 750 € extra would have compensated for all my losses up to this point. And what happens the next day? I get the verification code by mail where they say I can now withdraw the rest of my winnings but there's nothing left to withdraw...
